not terribly difficult to sing and play this song, one would think,but the tuning makes it a very easy and genious song. The tuning is, starting with the high E and moving to the lowest - goes E-G-G-C-G-C. Hope that helps. There is one tricky part that many dont pick up, in the start of the chorus, bar the12th frets, then keep your ring finger on the 12th frets of strings 1,2,3 (normally e,b,g) when you make the first change (to the 9th frets). Then bar the 9th fret all together on next change

I believe that its like Open C or C chord tuning, CGCGCE ?? I could be mistaken, but I know the low E, A, D and G is right.
