For 9:48 there's a safe zone where you can stand next to the machine and the laser can't hit you.
(Saves you from having to walk back and forth, and makes the battle much faster!) ☺

After it opens I mean. You can stand such that you're beyond the reach of the laser but the machine doesn't hit you when it opens. It can be a bit tricky to find the exact spot sometimes, but it works. ☺@@RetroGamesNostalgia
