A lesser-known entry in the Shinobi series, the game still holds its own. As always, ninjas rescue their hostages with style, and celebrate victories against bosses with a suicidal plunge off the nearest skyscraper.

6:03 I've owned this game for almost 20 years now and I had no idea such a bonus existed in this game!
Same. But it's also confusing. The creator clearly attacked a few times to knock them off the platform. But I'm guessing the bonus is awarded as long as no enemy dies on the platform as a result of the attack
@@XenoGuru I was thinking the same too. It seems that enemy deaths in the game are only registered if the enemy goes into the death animation (the explosion) and since none of the enemies in the stage actually go into the animation, they’re technically still alive. I mean, if you ignore the fact that they’re all falling several stories to the ground to a possibly worse death than taking a kick or a shuriken to the face, but still, technically alive as far as the game is concerned.
@@cvmh777 Yeah exactly. When I looked at IGN for the requirements of that bonus; it's now clear that it was worded incorrectly. It says "without attacking at all". That needs revision

"PEACEFUL BONUS"... never expected a 16-bit game to have an achievement like this for only less-than-lethal attacks.

Oh, hi there. I'm the guy you called "cheater cheater". I never tried to pass any of my Tool Assisted Speedruns off as anything other than tool-assisted, so I'm not entirely sure what you think I'm cheating at.
I wanted to create a movie of "What if Superman played Shadow Dancer?", that's all.
I think I got closet. (Took awhile to make it, too--the bosses did NOT want to get stunlocked.)
