Is it really possible to improve your playing in less than 5 minutes a day? Is it possible to play guitar warm-ups that make a difference and are fun to play? Absolutely! The key to getting better is slow steady progress. And the key to a great practice session is a killer warm-up. Even if you do nothing else but the warm-up, these guitar warm-ups will make a huge difference in your playing. Start strong and you will play better. It's a fact.
The first warm up is a twist on the classic spider exercise, the second is my personal favorite, and the third is an ambitious warm-up that can be tailored to challenge seasoned pros. Players of any skill level will benefit from each of these guitar warm-ups. Take your time. Play in time. Have fun.

I've let myself get too busy with my business and haven't been practicing enough. Seeing you video is a reminder that I need to pick up one of my guitars just a few minutes every day. Great job I have gotten tired of my typical warm ups. In addition, you may have been in my living room this afternoon,,I had about 20 minutes to kill so I picked up the Taylor 12 string and was just running thru some strum along type songs with basic chord progressions. My wife let me know my timing was off to which I vehemently denied so out comes the metronome. Dog gone it, she was right my timing was all over the place. I will add your exercise to my warm up routine.

Since it appeared RUclips deleted my Comment. I am going to state again, thank you for giving me some advice on 12 strings. Plus the inspiration and understanding you’ve given on them. I finally did get a good 12 string guitar (as my other one is old and has issues). My guitar shop near me deals in Alvarez guitars, and he got a 12 string in. Which I purchased for a very good price of $600. It’s beautiful and has such a radiant tone to it. The one I got was a Alvarez AD60ce 12 String Shadowburst (Artist, Dreadnought. Absolutely wonderful guitar, I’d recommend you give it a look, it’s a fantastic 12 string guitar
