      1:02:19 Khaled Kabub (Arabic: خالد كبوب, Hebrew: חאלד כבוב, born 1958) is an Israeli-Arab judge. Kabub was appointed in 2022 at the Supreme Court of Israel becoming its first Muslim member to be permanently appointed (Abdel Rahman Zuabi was briefly a justice in 1999 on a temporary appointment).[1]

      An Arab judge doesn't get to head the panel that investigates, tries, convicts, and sentences a former PM of Israel for SA and then gets to run for Supreme Court in an apartheid state. Their arguments are BS.

      1:09:45 Article 23(excerpt) The obligation of a High Contracting Party to allow the free passage of the consignments indicated in the preceding paragraph is subject to the condition that this Party is satisfied that there are no serious reasons for fearing:
      (a) that the consignments may be diverted from their destination,
      (b) that the control may not be effective, or
      (c) that a definite advantage may accrue to the military efforts or economy of the enemy through the substitution of the above-mentioned consignments for goods which would otherwise be provided or produced by the enemy or through the release of such material, services or facilities as would otherwise be required for the production of such goods.
      The Power which allows the passage of the consignments indicated in the first paragraph of this Article may make permission conditional on the distribution to the persons benefited thereby being made under the local supervision of the Protecting Powers.
      Such consignments shall be forwarded as rapidly as possible, and the Power which permits their free passage shall have the right to prescribe the technical arrangements under which such passage is allowed.
      So ya... because they don't need to allow rockets or rocket parts in. They aren't obligated to.

      What's frustrating is Stephen's denial of the possibility of Apartheid existing.
      1:00:40
      So in Steven's mind in apartheid is impossible.
      A conquered territory can only either be occupied or annexed to Destiny's mind.
      Booth statuses, which in Destiny's mind, negate the possibility of Apartheid.
      If it's a military occupation then his argument is _"of course they're treated under apartheid conditions it's a military occupation but it's not apartheid unless they're part of the same country"._
      But if the annex the territory into their own country, then in Stephen's mind, _" well if a country Annex a territory they have to give complete and total equal rights and citizenship to all of the people of that territory otherwise no annex possible!_
      So did Stephen Destiny Bunnell an apartheid is impossible because the two statuses that in territory can be under it's impossible in his mind for that territory to contain apartheid conditions.
      That's really weird destiny. I'll go ahead and stick with international law and the International Community as far as what is and is not apartheid. thank you.

      @@darrene.vonbraun4421 You got the first part right. Conquered territory is either controlled, but not part of your country (occupied), or it's controlled, and a part of your country (annexed)
      The 2nd part you get him wrong 180 degrees.
      If it's an occupation, you'd never expect equal rights or treatment, there's a reason they have to occupy the territory (whether u find it just or not) and this is true for literally every single conquest in the history of literally ever.
      If you annex the territory, there's no magical "and suddenly everyone got equal rights". Destiny's point is literally that if you keep "apartheid conditions" in the area you annexed, that would be fair to call Apartheid.
      so it's not "otherwise no annex is possible", it's "otherwise, you'd have apartheid". Which renders the rest of your rant entirely pointless as you missed the point of the whole debate.
      When it comes to the "what if u just don't give the citizenship?". Well, you can't make people stateless, and the world would never accept Israel just make everyone stateless, but let them live in Israel as a lower caste. Even if Israel officially claimed they did, the whole world would treat them as if those people were still Israeli citizens, rendering the whole hypothetical impossible. If you're a dual citizen, you can much more easily be stripped of a particular citizenship, so any Syrian-Israeli then would be a lot easier to strip of the israeli citizenship and deport them back to syria, depending on the rules established, at which point it's no different from other foreigners. There is no right to stay in a foreign country, that's a privilege and if any country goes "we don't accept people from X country" that's allowed, and current practice in a lot of the world, particularily the middle east.

    I think Destiny missed the point here, which is rare. The real problem with "Apartheid" is that it's a loaded term. And the whole reason it's loaded is because of racism. It basically describes systematic racism against people living in your country. This is why it doesn't work in this situation. It's very similar to using the word "Genocide". When people say it, they mean the extermination of a nation or a race, which again doesn't apply. People keep bending these words to work with their narratives because they know they are inflammatory, and that is the real problem.

    • @hansfrankfurter2903
      @hansfrankfurter2903 9 месяцев назад +1

      And the term "terrorist" is a loaded term that doesn't even have a legal agreed upon definition and yet ppl throw it around willy nilly and no one bats an eyelash. OTOH these terms have both legal and technical meanings. We can walk you through both of these things and show you why it applies and help you out if you're interested.
      What you're doing is saying "look it vaguely doesn't sound right to me, therefore I reject the conclusion outright as just crazy lefty hysteria and save myself having to do the hard work and see if these terms actually apply". Do you see the problem here?

    • @LKJKSLDJ
      @LKJKSLDJ 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@hansfrankfurter2903 I didn't say it "vaguely doesn't sound right", the way the word is perceived by the public is blatantly at odds with reality. When people say "Apartheid," they think of systematic racism, the government giving rights according to race, this is why the word is loaded, not because of some vague UN definition. Israel is 20% Palestinian, they have equal rights, they can vote, they have representatives in the Israeli parliament and the Supreme Court, and they were even members of the last Israeli government. Systematic racism goes right out of the window at this point. As for the West Bank and Gaza, they have their own governing bodies, their own judicial systems, and their own police. You can definitely say that Israel controlling the occupied territories and applying rules to them is wrong, but none of this even remotely resembles South Africa and what people think when they say "Apartheid".

      Problem is idiot leftists who may not necessarily be antisemetic decided to run along with it because it “strengthens” their cause, and then they reject the idea they are being antisemetic because “antizionism is not antisemitism”.

    The West Bank was NEVER a separate entity and is simply an illegal colony of Jordan.
    Jordan literally is the original Arab Palestinians state. It wasn’t named Transjordan until after the British reneged on the deal to the Jews and RE-DREW the borders. The fact that they renamed it to Jordan PROVES the name Palestine never meant a thing to them. Ironically, Palestine is the name given during the colonial occupation of Israel …freeing Palestine literally means Israeli liberation. Apartheid is in Jordan where Jews cannot buy land or homes , or in Gaza where Jews are not allowed to live, or Palestinians authority ran areas of “West Bank” where Jews cannot live and the law is death penalty to sell a house or land to Jews.
