Great review…I’m using a 200 -600 with a Sony A7 slll….my current Benro system does not do well in windy conditions. What are your thoughts on this system for varying weather conditions? THANK YOU !!
What slider are you using? I'm quite impressed with the tripod and the Aktive 8 head. Vey smooth pans and tilts now...a bit of a weight to carry if your out hiking.

Is the Aktiv 6 overkill for a Sony A1 with 70-200 2.8 GM setup? If not, does Sachtler makes clamps for Arca Swiss L-plates from Really Right Stuff? Thanks!
Choices, choices, choices. One thing popped into my head during this demonstration, though I have already watched almost 6 demonstrations of the Flowtech 75. Has any tripod of this caliber incorporated pneumatic leg damping? I'm referring to a feature that steered me to inexpensive Mantis light stands. They have to be gently pushed down to collapse. They resist collapsing. The idea being if the extension clamp is released with heavy lights on top the uprights don't come crashing down in free fall. The light stands are still extremely light weight.

Would you recommend the Aktiv6 or the Aktiv8 for Sony FS5M2? I mostly use Samyang Cine primes, might add an Atomos Shogun 7 eventually. I most likely won't move up to larger cameras or fully rig out the FS5.
I use an a7s3 on the 8 head, I'm upgrading later so the balancing is about setting 1. I use a 35mm lens. The 8 has 7 settings, where as the 6 only has 3 settings. So i opted for the 8, over kill, but i was thinking in the futures on differnt cameras and lens.
