@@getitdonehomerepair I think so! I have a great landlord in her 80's, and I'd like to save her some money on the repairs. I already replaced the water heater for them before her husband died last summer, and learned the hard way that you must turn the main water supply off before you replace the cold water supply valve! What a mess! And I had help, too, and he missed it as well! Live and learn...🤣
Good nice and neat work brother! Good job and was a great reminder for me.. I havent had to do this in 5 years and applied for a tech job recently so this was perfect
The strip is screwed to each side of the trim but I don’t see how the unit is screwed to anything and whoever installed this did a horrible job because it’s impossible to unscrew one side. Thanks for your reply! I have removal and install scheduled for Thursday but honestly am afraid the people coming will destroy my counter trying to remove.
The metal strap is usually under a granite countertop There should be screws that hold the dishwasher to that strap. If not there will be screws on the sides holding the dishwasher to the cabinet Keep me posted
Excellent job! Even a dumb truck driver like me can do this with your great, simple instructions! Thanks for sharing!
I’m sure you can get it done

NO…I had to cut the opening on the sides of counter…It still dragged on the the sides with the door is lowered…Pain in the ass!!
24in is standard, measure first

What’s tool you used to take off the electrical box?
I used only a few screw drivers, vise grips and snap rings pliers. Didn’t forget to hit the thumbs up and subscribe
High loop for the drain to prevent back up from a clogged drain ?
Thank you for your input.
Best video, tks
Do you have to disconnect the wires if there is a plug for the outlet
No you can just unplug it.
Does the new dishwasher comes with a drain and water supply host? Sorry for asking as I may need soon to replace my dishwasher. Thanks.
Yes it does come with the new dishwasher

I hope everything worked out okay for you
Can I turn my breaker back on while the wires are disconnected? My breaker for my dishwasher is also connected to all my lights and fridge.
Yes as long as you install the safety caps on the disconnected wires.
Curious, if my washers power comes from an electrical connection from a power cord, do i need to do the step to disconnect the electrical wires?
If you can just unplug it then no just unplug.
How do you use the dishwasher if the top controls are flush with the counter? Mines top control and you can't use the buttons with the door open
You will need to enter the desired selection and then press start . you will have 5 sec to close the door before it starts.
My dishwasher does not have the 2 screws under the counter. There seems to be some metal stripping instead.

You didn't show how to connect the wires
Why not disconnect and reuse lines at the dishwasher itself?
I always replace the lines just because the old machine was probable 10 + years old
Oh it’s Boston accent, not NY. Or possibly Rhode Island??
Good guess but I’m from New Jersey
My problem is mines a plug in and the new dishwasher didnt come with a cord 🤦♀️
I have the same. You can get a dishwasher plug from most hardware stores and just wire that to the new dishwasher.
Say 'here' again!
.
You failed to adjust from the bottom first, than secure the top. My guess is its not level from front to back, only from side to side.
.
what us with the cover that goes over it...does that come with a new washer?
