    So often we want to be really good really fast at what we're trying to learn (like belly dance). And I think we often lose the joy of the PROCESS of learning and getting better a little at a time. One of my goals in this Absolute Beginner series of belly dance workouts is to subtly teach you the beat and rhythm AS you learn the technique along with the "old-school" fabulousness 😉 of live drumming.     With this one I keep accidentally wiggling other parts of my body while at full speed. Really tricky but loads of fun to learn and practice. :)

    Merhaba Jensuya! This move is really hard for me as my muscle is not used to it... Thank you for the tip to move the ribs. It is easier to understand for me. When I do this move faster (not the full speed), I feel like the air in the lung? are pushed out (to throat?). Am i moving the right parts of body??? :) Takako

      Merhaba Takako! Yes, it sounds like you are doing the move correctly. This is what I think is one of the benefits of belly dance-it's giving our inside organs a workout, too! 😂 We just launched a series of new classes where we focus on these motions that make up belly dance moves.
