I just come back from Zagreb Croatia 🇭🇷 beautiful city Food is on different level compared with north American hotel Food is Amezing fresh fruit, pastry fresh. Squeeze. Orange oranjuice, everything was excellent definitely i will be there again, love Zagreb.
I'm glad you discovered traditional dishes. We say you won't get sick if you eat that kind of breakfast. The cracklings are cooked, as you indicated, and then squeezed to drain the fat. Someone also likes unsqueezed cracklings.
I was born in Zagreb, thank you for speaking so nicely about my city, what you ate is not 10% of what you could eat in the city and its surroundings, and barely 1% of the offer in the whole of Croatia
I'm glad you've tried some of less known meals of Croatia. We are actually having some of the best salami/dried meats and cheeses in the world. Same as vines and strong alcohols.
It has been a delight to enjoy dishes unique to Croatia! And I have been fortunate enough to try the salami, hard cheeses, wines, Pelinkovac, and pršut during our time here. I'm a huge fan!! 💓🇭🇷

I absolutely LOVE your video's. You share a style with another very famous blogger but the way you tell the story (describing food) is very genuine!! We are heading to Croatia in a month so I'll be checking out the spots you recommended in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik.
Thank you so much for appreciating the hard work and research we put into each of these videos🙏. You are going to love Croatia, I wish you all a wonderful and memorable trip! 😃
The bread you tasted at Okrugljak (btw, one of the best restaurants in Zagreb) was not brushed with butter and thus yellow, but it was yellow because it was made of corn. It is a type of bread very different from what you can find in the US (I know as I live in LA), as it's not sweet. Corn bread that you had is a delicacy, I'm yet to find anything that comes close to it. And last, Croatians do not dip or brush butter on their bread, if anything then olive oil.

Cottage cheese dip sound blah but in Croatia its really good. Cheese has more bite to it and sour cream has interesting tang, like its fermented a bit.
