the rubber hoses mine is starting to drip when I run my boat. Should I replace the entire hose or just replace the ring.. I'm not very good at fixing things LOL
Probably a dumb question but, do you know if my boat overheating at 3/4 throttle or more after a few mins could be from the Tstat? If I back the throttle down the temp alarm will immediately go away. I'm gonna change the Tstat today and I would like to backflush it as well because my old impeller started breaking apart at one point. I found the big chunk that broke off but lost some smaller pieces. I'm just wondering if there's a restriction or if it's the Tstat causing the temp alarm to go off when I'm cruising at like 3800 or higher RPM.
It could be a thermostat but if your impeller blades came apart I would check the thermostat housing real well when you have it out to make sure none of the blades are lodged in any of the water ports.
@@joepiershalski5432 I know on the manifold sometimes the port openings that allow water to the manifold get plugged up with rust. I just had that happen to me today. Started over heating and the port holes was completely plugged up.
Question: the single hose on the right, rather than loosen the hose clamp (screw), I removed the crimp clamp at the lower end (like a dumbass). Is there a reason why this lower clamp is a crimp instead of a screw hose clamp?
I love how you speed by the boring parts...nice touch. And I love your Trump hat!!
Nice. Also appears to be the same exact method for the 5.7 volvo penta.
Verry helpful friend (and I love the hat)!
Thank you!
Can I do this while boat is in water or is it under pressure
Also, mine is a 2003, and it does not appear to have a gasket........is that normal?
How do I change my belts? Having trouble finding a diagram for it?…thanks in advance...Cheers!🍻
I have a 2006 4.3GL and am looking for a 185 thermostat.
Any recommendations?
I'd like to know more about your fuel injection too..

@@7soulcry same question for me ...I checked my impeller and it was in perfect condition......would that be the tstat?

Fantastic. Now I can make my boat great again. Seriously, great video. It was perfect, a perfect video. LMAO. Thanks man…..MAGA
What kind of fuel injection did you put on?
Just had a mechanic tell me boats don’t have a thermostat cause there’s no radiator wth 🤦♂️
I would've used some blue RTV on that gasket. No harm.
AMEN ON THE TRUMP HAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please call me I want to pay you to rebuild my engine
Way to alienate 70% of your potential viewers with irrelevant political BS. No thanks.
