  • Plumbing tools what tools should a plumber carry to do day to day tasks and what tool bag is best? This is what plumbing tools use on a day to day bases to fix boilers, dripping taps, faulty radiators and broken bogs. The bag in the video is a @velocityprogear rouge 9.0, we use this as our ''all in one'' bag so when we pick it up and take it into a customers house we know we have all the plumbing tools we need to complete the task.
The tools we have gathered over the years range from brands such as Bahco, Knipex, Milwaukee among others. Plumbers tool bags take years to build up to a level where you know what brand you like, what tools am better to use for your style of plumbing and the jobs that you do
Hopefully showing you what plumbing tools i carry and use day in, day out will help you out

Thanks for that, it was interesting to see 👍
There is one tool that comes to mind, that you could add to that tool kit 🤔
I think it would be a real asset for you in your line of work, and that is, a small Magnetic screw dish or try.
Ideal when dismantling items, all the screws and bolts kept safe in one place.
You can even stick the tray vertically on the boiler panel and load it with the screws and bolts you remove.
Just keeps them all together 👍
You might even find that some of the Chinese brass look a like screws stick to the tray as well 😂
    Cheers Bud 👍

I use Systainers, they are easy to clean. Festool older tool-box models are great for fast access. I've never been a fan of bags and backpacks.

Nice tool , am a wera man which I have all joker ratchet and open end spanner for all sizes . I use knipex water pump plies too but the chrome push button as the
one you use slip after a while . Myscrews drivers are wera my Allen and torx are wera, they are expensive but you get what you pay for as they say. Like you love the vito bags too

Gotta say I love Wera tools they am really good so I might look into getting some screwdriver to replace the Milwaukee eventually, them was only £20 so I’ve got low expectations. That velocity bag is my first dip into investing into a decent tool bag, want another smaller open one now to build the collection 👍

Nice loadout, just one thing: You shouldn't use a multimeter to test for dead ( Safe isolation ), I've seen the results of someone accidentally using the wrong setting on a multimeter and then testing for safe isolation, the circuit was actually still live and the result was pretty horrendous.

Way I was trained at British Gas to be honest always safe isolation with a multi meter never known any different

    • @rscelectrical7091
      @rscelectrical7091 4 месяца назад

@@bluebulldog_uk: Not having a go at you buddy but it's really not a good way to do it. Years ago that was what everyone used, myself included until I was shown by an ex boss that it was dangerous. Since then I've witnessed the results of someone incorrectly setting a meter for whatever reason twice, then using it to test for dead and neither was pretty. A simple 2 pole voltage probe is much safer and has no settings to get mixed up.
If you look at any of the safe isolation courses, none that I've seen use a multimeter and that includes the Corgi training centre course.
