My toxic trait is believing with my whole heart that I can do all this first try and be a pro drifter in 2 weeks
I tried this in my 2015 Mustang GT and fishtail'd so hard I now live in an oceanic ecosystem
I used to drift around with my great grandfather's Toyota Corolla (and thats where i learnt how to drive) and now I drive a Toyota Supra Mk4 '98. Our family's car culture is based on Toyota
In simple words," Turn right to go left".
nostalgic line from cars
Common line from non car guys when they see something related to drift

Don't forget to turn after going right!!
-takuni fujiwara
I tried this in my village and hit a hut and a small goat.
(all jokes aside, awesome tutorial)
Haha where are you drifting? Botswana?
Where you drifting New York lol
What a cool dude, what a high production value and what an awesome tutorial!
Why this vid has dislikes >0 is beyond me.
Keiichi Tsuchiya would disagree with you on needing a lot of power to drift.
This was so awesome !! Super inspired. You're one of the reason I decided to start my own E46 channel !
+Adam More glad you are enjoying! Good luck with your channel!
Great, now I can go ahead and deliver tofu for my dad's small business, it's about time I started helping out!
Best drift video I’ve found! Thanks!!!!
1. Only do this on a track in a RWD car with a rear locking differential.
2. Turn hard and then hit throttle to initiate the drift. It will not drift if yoy hit the throttle before turning.
3. Most importantly, stay on the throttle until you've gained traction or else you will likely go off the track or into the wall. While drifting look where you want to go and let the wheel come back and catch it and adjust until you've gained traction going straight.
4. Once you've gained traction, you can let off the throttle.
You explained this perfectly. Thank you
Excellent video, thank you!
Great video btw bro!
believe it or not, i've been working on this with my all wheel drive 3 series e90 (still getting the hang of it). mostly i wait till pavement is wet, and my tires are currently well worn. i've been turning off traction control when i remember. also, once it starts snowing, i'll hit the empty parking lots to practice.
+Bucky Barnes the e46 awd is fairly rear biased so you can still do a decent tail slide. I've drifted my e46 on the track in the wet. It's fun! Even with an open diff
take out your front shafts!
nice video! car throttle level :D
Really good vid my man
You should be able to maintain drift at that power level. Just clutch kick as the engine starts to bog down.
Great videos btw. I really enjoy them.
+peter033kjv that's a bit advanced for this video. Also not a fan of doing that repetitively (in order to show people how to do it) in a car that is needed for daily duty the next day lol
Wow. Look at you guys now. Nice glow up, Throttle House.
Love it!
You should also mention, if you get caught on the road by the police doing drifting or power slides, the fines are in the $5000+ range and your car insurance will triple or quadruple with the possibility of being banned from driving for a couple years. However, in the wintertime, the skill to recover from a slide is crucial.
This guy should be on T.V. or something, what's the hold up? Someone call netflix
+slang ebonics feel free to call on my behalf lol.
Great video
Cool that really help me in a game
you have come a long a way
Just got this recommend, I'm mad I didn't watch this earlier
Forgot to specify “in gta” and now my mum is angry.
So lets say you wanna drift to left then first you steer to left and then steer to right and play with steering. And you steer to right cause if you wouldnt you would spin out am i right?
Thank you man! I am going to try it with my dad's car
Comment before disaster
May god repair your dads car I hope she don’t die
Wait no IG you are dead ok
But in afterlife drive safely
if somebody does not have lsd ,
can he try all these and if yes with which difrences??😎😉
The mistake i made is letting off the throttle mid drift and nearly hit a wall 🤦♂️ great video btw very helpfull
Thanks for the tip. Definitely will look for a track that has grass instead of a wall.
Great video bud. I thought most tracks required roll cages for open tops?
+MadCow582 during open lapping yes. This was a totally closed course.
How powerfull car schould be to drift properly?
Can you do more toturials on car stunt tricks
saving this for 8 more years, so i can finally do what i've wanted to do since i saw Tokyo Drift
see u in the repair shop.
@@gamingjay141 took me 4 months to get this joke, fuck you LOOL
Hahaha I am so taking my NC to this level 😏 full throttle is no joke trying to drift a mi-yacht-a
What does stand on the throttle mean?
Welcome to Throttle House! I'm Thomas and where's James?
Its hilarious youre using this car😂😂 i swapped a 2.5L ford fusion into mine
So, what are the possibilities of flipping instead of drifting??
Great video, love it, but also, I don't really understand all the lingo, and am having trouble figuring out what you're saying after the first few steps. Also, this probably isn't the best in an auto is it? I've been trying to throw it on turns anyways.
Is that a second gen miata? Or third?
I'm 13 searching this up lol I got big dreams :D
If i have accidently started power sliding on a wet road. Do I really want to maintain my foot on the gas to bring it out safely?
From what I gathered you can let off slowly and controlled, but don't let off all at once since you don't know how the car will react. Focus on steering until you gain traction.
0:55 LOL 😁
Watching this specifically because it was a Miata NC!
What kind of tire do you use for drifting?
+Alex Zhang this was just a cheapo no name tire
Hey was this at cayuga?
It is Cayuga indeed - Toronto Motorsports Park.
what gear should i be in to drift?
Depends on your car and the speed you are going
Its usually the second gear
Delivering Tofu in style
Is it possible to flip the car
Now I know it is possible to drift my galaxy gray NC1 miata, because James drifted a galaxy gray nc1 miata
how do I not flip it?
Miata!
Whenever I trie to drift my car interior starts shaking and vibrating violently. This happens even on the wet road. What am I doing wrong? or maybe something is broken, like diff or rear wheel bearings?
same vibrations like here, nobody had the answer tho
/watch?v=owaHnHdzAQM
+Dexon that's very weird. Only when trying to drift? You sure you aren't initiating understeer? Understeer will cause vibrations depending on surface. Otherwise it's probably mechanical
it is the same like in this video /watch?v=owaHnHdzAQM
also, my e46 suspension is stock, and yes...it only happens when drifting which I hardly ever do but still
probably wheel hop from worn bushings
please teach me this next time we meet thx
+Andrew Zhang get some old tires, and we'll go to shannonville and have tons of fun
You can do this in snowy weather condition on public road without making other drivers cringing.
They'll still cringe if you stay on the road and laugh if you go off it.
I am assuming the owner was like, " Hey guys I need new tires, lets drift!"
Wish he would drift my F30 335i
What happened to road to time attack? Last video that I've seen had to do with the money shift and new engine
+Ben Rojas yep the final and concluding episode is in the works
What about 4x4?
Bruh keep it in H2 just like normal driving mode
Imagine doing the steps in FWD CAR to instant understeer LOL 😁
I have an fwd car. I drift with the handbrake
@@raazuu6913 footbreak FWD gang :P
Thanks lol
Instructions unclear, I just rammed into a tree
But you did it looking cool.
U know Drater already know how to slide
You should’ve done this in a Mustang.
I am curious about safety ... I might be a bit paranoid, but if I ever had the opportunity I would want a roll cage, maybe even a helmet, and definitely not a convertible. Is this overkill?
When learning, I don't think this is overkill if you are more comfortable. As he said, you want to be on the track and start slow making sure you are not getting in the way of anyone else. A helmet and non-convertible car that you are comfortable in could be safer than a car you are not comfortable in with a cage.
I personally don't call it a drift unless you link 2 or more corners together. Being able to transition from one to the other whilst still drifting (no straightening etc) is the technical part that is the challenge for most. There is not such thing as enough power either, you just do it in higher gears with higher wheel speed lol. I would recommend a wet skidpan just once, it slows everything down while telling you a lot about what your car is doing. Not attacking a national competition sector for the 1st time out and trying to link 4 3rd gear corners straight out of he box. Not that I would have done that at all???
+tangles01 after working on teaching several people in car how to just do a simple slide like this, and having learned myself over time, I would say that just doing a single clean slide is quite a challenge for most people. Transitioning is part of drifting I 100% agree, but I wouldn't say that it 'defines' it.
Is it bad that I briefly went into a drift without losing control or without panicking when taking a rather sharp corner without slowing down basically I took the corner without slowing down at all took it really tight and as I was about to the point where if I didn’t turn back I would’ve gone off the road I turn back and then the back of my car drifted completely unintentional
Edit I was the only car in the road and there was no traffic anywhere to be seen it was the time so I could see what I was doing as well
Locked diff isn't nessicary
let's do this with a manual
But did you get a miata?
+Joker the topic of a coming video...
haha! Keep `em coming, love the quality!
Instead he got James who came with a Miata.
That looks way to easy in the video
Soooo Honda Civic drivers at 3am?
So, do you still think you need to buy a Miata? :)
+Rabih Badr (ssshhh.... I did... that one is mine ....) ;)
I just uploaded my first car video. If you could check it out and let me know what you think, I'd seriously appreciate it! Thanks!
Please don’t do this, he’s just yeeting his car
nice video! car throttle level :D
