- Here are some common misconceptions about taking your car to the track. Yes, there are a few mods that will help you push your car a bit harder (brakes, tires etc.) but the most important thing is to just get out there and get involved. We will visit the "best track-day mods" in an up-coming video!

Always seek proper instruction, and make sure your car has been inspected before you do any aggressive driving! Авто/Мото

no 3 - performance driving is expensive. you wear your tires down faster than everyday driving. you go through a tank of gas faster than. everyday driving
2:18 fast & furious rip off and one of the worst ones at that. You only double clutch transmissions that don't have syncros.
Dominic O'Conner OBVIOUSLY it was a reference to fast and furious. Haha. It was a joke. But actually there are cases when doubleclutching can be necessary in synchronized transmissions. If you are skipping gears on a downshift, doubleclutch downshifting is sometimes necessary to prevent wear or prevent grinding
You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. If you want to skip a gear lets say going from 5th-3rd once you push the clutch in & shift out of the gear you are on the transmission output shaft is in neutral then when you go to engage a different gear the syncros for that gear will engage allowing you to shift into it. The only time this won't work is if you try to shift into a lower gear when the transmission is turning to fast for that gear. The transmission doesn't care if you want to go 1 to 3 to 5 it still works fine, that's what the synchronizers do they engage when the shift fork of the specific gear is pushed. That's why transmissions share shift shafts, 1&2 are shared & 3rd & 4th 5th & reverse have their own.
Dominic: you are 100% correct, the transmission doesn't care what gear it is in, it shifts into the gear the same way it's not smart enough to know what gear it came out of. People who don't understand this should just stick to driving automatics. Oh and you can skip a gear in a automatic too. I have an old square body Chevy with a SM465 manual transmission and you can shift it with out the clutch you just have to rev match it but that's a whole different topic
