I've been a long time fan of the Honda Accord and I gotta say, this proves the sad decision they made getting rid of the Accord V6 option as well as the loss of the coupe. The newest Accord overall for a daily is excellent as always, but for the price of the Accord's top trim level with the 2.0 engine that's literally the Civic Type R engine.... just weaker, you may as well just get the Type R. However, I do wonder what you guys would think about the 2.0t with the 10 speed automatic instead. I could see that as a Civic Type R that's much more subtle and relaxed, but still decently engaging if you want it to be. But I just don't think it'll match that of the days of the V6 Accord.

@@peterurbanski9495 tlx a spec is basically the tlx sport just a kit and red interior.
glad to see you guys are still putting out content. we are just as bored at home as you guys, so keep them coming!
I was expecting the C8 to be on the 5 that deserve the hype.
That thing is ugly
Has not arrived at Canadian dealerships yet.
For the very first time ever (and with any so-called top/bottom 5), I agree with all of your comments.
Had to remind myself they haven’t driven the c8
The short answer is yes
And GT 500 already beat it according to MotorTrend.
They don't look like Corvette types anyway.
They'll review it and say great things about it but would never buy one... And I would pretty much guarantee it.
That's a particular look of a person that drives the Corvette and they don't fit that description.
@@twany442 According to motor trend the STOCK C8 Corvette made 560 WHEEL HORSEPOWER, so we know they're totally trustworthy. Anyone who knows cars knows that they don't.
@@THESLlCK Who gives a shit!
I'm just reinstating what was said by the Corvette community before the C8 came out
That mid-engine so-called Supercar was going to trample all over that new GT500 when it arrives... But did it? 🤔 No it did not!
Now we have to hear about how much more horsepower the Mustang has over the Corvette.
The Mustang is 650 pounds heavier with a six year old rental car platform and yet... The corvette lost.
I really don't have time to go back a forth about a car a can give a flying fuck about...the corvette.
The moral of the story is...waiting before running your mouth and see what the results are going to be.
Now...we have to hear about waiting on the next Corvette with more horsepower and better steering...but we have the GT for that!
And the new Mustang coming in two more years so I'm not bothered at all.
Don't argue with me.. Go and talk to your corvette homeboys all over the 2020 GT 500 reviews claiming so.
Randy and MotorTrend said that the Corvette has room for improvement and the next one should be better PIEROD
Loved it and great job getting content while at home. Nice to see some first rate Canadian content ! Also love your test drives. For 8 years I commuted from Guelph to Burlington and my route was down through Campbellville along Walkers Line. Love that area ! Keep up the awesome work !
I feel like James saying gangster is okay
Dear Mister Vocals. 100% agreed. Just a warning for Mr and Mrs Throttle, saying shit like "you my nigga" is never gonna sound right coming from the mouths of these two white bread motherfukers. Jimbo just loves these guys.
Is James quarantined at his grandma's. Great chair 😉.
Still love you guys.
Bored in the house x2
I like how being cooped up at home actually enabled me to discover some interesting underrated channels like these guys'.
I don't get the minimalistic styling of the Tesla interiors.
It's just boring.
Huge Mazda fan here! I own a 2019 CX-9 and Miata RF, but I couldn't agree more with the Mazda3. I too had high hopes, but was disappointed for the same reasons. I hate it when a new generation of any car comes out and the motor is a carryover.
There’s barley 4 “pony/ muscle “ cars left let’s just call em all muscle cars
None are muscle cars, they're pony cars. There are no more new muscle cars.
Favorite 2 cars right there WRX and 2020 Type R and the 2021 or 2022 Type R will look even better they take the criticism from lovers of the car its beautiful especially in the boost blue
Nobody:
2030 EV Transition:
Tesla: No competition.
Ford: Struggling/
Ferrari: Same situation they were in 1963.
Mercedes: Making good cars yet not as good as Tesla.
VW Group: Making a lot of money yet, not as good as Tesla.
Jaguar: Depressed.
Aston Martin: Nearing bankruptcy.
Pagani: Asking Mercedes to build they're battery pack.
Koenigsegg: Making Innovating Hypercars.
GM: Basically dead
Those are my Predictions for the future, do you agree with me?
Totally
Great Video! Realy cool and funny! - By the way: Why is my Thrustmaster SIM Steering Wheel in the Background?
The Supra wasn't ever a "game changer" it was just a fast Japanese sports car, the hype over this car was the engine that was easily tuned and could cope with 1000hp on stock internals. The new car is exactly the same for this generation. Too many movies make the car seem like a legend 🙄
1000hp on BMW internals? For a few seconds maybe...
@@gillesthibault429 The old car could handle and make big power, this new one can produce good power with little tunes and mods, but hardly handle and last with that amount of big power the old ones had.
It doesn't feel like a Toyota. It feels 100% BMW, the kind of car you lease for a few years, then let it go without a regret.
Gilles Thibault This comment tells me you've never even driven one 😂
@@James-oo1yq I drove Toyotas, as well as a few BMWs. Including one of those Zupras. It definitely has the feel of a BMW, not of a Toyota.
Great vid guys! Thanks for continuing to put out sweet content :) I'm glad to see Thomas made it home alright.
The Supra is extremely ugly, the FT1 concept that Toyota built was beautiful.
Read Zechariah 12:10 it’s not ugly
Agreed. Saw one recently and was very disappointed
Agree! These are fun videos you are making Throttle House. It’s primarily the humour that makes it stand out from other reviewers out there. Keep doing it and these please
The Styling of 90% of cars these days is totally contrived. That shows a complete lack of imagination on the part of the designers.
I think alot of it has to do with our hyper focus on gas economy these days, so wind resistance and aerodynamics are really important to make efficient, resulting in less interesting exterior designs
Actually cars are designed more by the aerodynamics departments than the design departments
Great video .... Love the edits. Piecing together clips into something that works this well is tough.
You're impressed by a Hyundai? Wow. Easily impressed then.
Maybe you guys can make a video about the best sports car for 20k. Corvette C6 and E46 M3 for example. But what is best one in your opinion... Or a top 5...
Nice video and thanks for making this whole time less boring!
The Honda Accord is absurdly ugly, what insane person designed it? It looks like it's already been driven off a cliff oh, maybe that's a good idea.
Thanks for the uplifting vid when us Canadians are all doing our part staying the hell home. Not a list I was expecting which was refreshing! Keep up the good work!!!
Man why do some people think the TypeR looks to crazy , I think it looks so good you gotta think about it it’s a race car that you can go to the shops with and that’s it , race cars are supposed to look crazy and its Japanese , it’s a cool car and a lot of people love the look 😎
You guys get gold for production quality. Nice job.
If all other outlets are on point, the new Cadillac CT5-V is brilliant. Can’t wait for your review of that model!
p.s. Seriously, this is my favorite auto channel. Hilarious, yet also spot on regarding reviews. You guys are the absolute best!
Absolutely love this channel. Should have well over 3M subs by now
Great video. You should do more of these. For example: best and worst sports cars, best and worst convertibles etc. And include older cars too. I want to see how older cars compare to newer cars
Quality content and laugh out loud fun! Thanks!
I totally agree with the Honda Type-R... Even the bog-stock Civic is insanely well balanced and is extremely capable down a (certain, local) mountain range. With more power, holy shit that thing would be potent.
Literally my favorite channel for car reviews you guys are absolutely hilarious the "Chevy GT500"!
The alternative was a CumStang as mentioned in a previous video.
I think they chose the weaker name tbh.
2:51-2:58
That is so accurate.
Even in Germany.
Love this Part so much. Thanks! Haha
I'm glad James is a Honda fan, that's why i've sub'd to you. Bit envious really because the USA gets more models than us in the UK
