I still feel like I'm on that Journey of figuring out EXACTLY what hardware & settings are right for me. 🙃 I'm just glad there's so many affordable mic options And Hardware like this, that make it easier than ever to get at least usable audio. Even if you/we aren't an expert
It's crazy to be focusing on audio for such a long time but still to feel like you have no idea what you're doing bhahahha. I thought I had a good handle on things, and then just switching from recording vocals to guitar was a huge change up. But like you said, having things that make it easier is huge. Thanks for watching dude!
YOU CAN RENAME CHANNELS IN THE APP??? Well that’s lovely to know haha - sick video, man. That guitar demo was relaxing as heck and that Mac/PC audio routing is awesome haha
Engagement comment. Also I need to know what that square light is, that looks hella dope. And if you made it yourself that's even hella dope-er. You say this product is good for musicians, but which kind? Is it only for guitars? I personally do drums, and I cannot quite see why you would want this over a mixer.
That is an older Neewer RGB light panel with a 3rd party softbox and grid. Thats been my primary keylight for years now. And I can't say you would want this device for acoustic drums since there is only two inputs. And for electric I would assume you're skipping analog recording out of the gate, so doesn't make a lot of sense for that either. Regarding music, this seems more for vocalists, guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, synths, or single/dual mic recordings for mono or stereo. It's going to depend on the instrument and how you mic things.
I had the same issue with guitar input being very dark, losing a ton of the mids-highs. As a workaround I use a balanced output from a Line 6 Relay wireless system which seems to resolve the issue. As a plus, it's now a balanced signal too.
This is sick! Love being able to plug your phone into it too. Would make recording mobile music stuff really easy!

Love the set up and gear inspired me to make some improvements. Are you still using the LEWITT ray by chance?
I am! It's my main microphone over at my Mac Mini setup. I also just took it with me to be an overhead mic for a drum set. I love that microphone!

Oh snap! I should see if my line out of my Katana is balanced or not....
tim henson mentioned :o
The goat. LITERALLY. hahaha. I love his plugin so much.
Another product I absolutely want but don’t have the money for 😂 but soon. Gotta get a new gpu first
I FEEL THAT! hahha.
I know this may be shallow but the one thing keeping me away from lewitt products is the 2014 gamer aesthetic.
It's not shallow to prefer a certain design or aesthetic :)
TFOT riff = sub
❤️❤️❤️
Is it guitar-friendly?
Very much so as long as you have a DI!
it looks ugly as hell
year 2000 called.....
