Love the intro! Technology that gets out of the way of the creative process is a good thing, and our recent live stream was SO easy with this interface!
I don't care if it's an ad or not, you can plug your Phone/iPad on that thing and just stream. The software looks also very nice and convenient. Instant buy.
Great insight and review, as usual! I had the opportunity to check out the Connect 6 this week and your observations are spot on. I appreciate Lewitt's approach to developing technology and enjoyed having the opportunity to tell Roman Perschon so. Great forward-facing company! Thank you for your content!
Sorry, I didn't get it. Why it so cool? I used Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 and it has dsp routing s well via software. What's new or cool here? Maybe I missed something
Which Audeze cans ado you have in the background ? Would be really interested in your views and thoughts on those, and whether you're using any correction software with them. I've been test driving a pair of LCD-X recently. All the best - thanks for all the work you put in for our benefit.
Interesting how design and styling of a product can steer you in a certain direction. My first association with it was “is this a video card?”. It looks very Nvidia to me. This interface could have some gamer appeal just by it’s looks. I know looks can be deceiving but I think it is probably a lot better then then the typical gamer oriented audio products on the market. The audio interface space is pretty competitive, considering the amount of new products that Julian Krause has to test and review.
I love that you always try out new video formats and experiment with your content! I'm a little bit surprised that nobody is asking what new piece of gear you're hiding on your desk ;) Already looking forward to find out!
Feature wise this fits perfectly to what I’ve been looking for a while now. Was seriously considering to buy this thing but upon hearing that its made out of plastic really made me worry about the durability and longetivity of this product. All my interfaces so far have had a metal casing which is great when you are travelling with the interface.
Hello Fabian! We just wanted to let you know that our products are always made with longevitiy as a priority & on top of that they feature a limited two-year warranty. 😉
Thanks so much. Maybe you could or someone recommended what would be the bests audio interface for playing live hybrid sets? I need to connect my sb3 dj mixer and a mini Arturia keyboard with a microfone for sing or play guitar , I was thinking that the Arturia minufuse 2 its a great option, most of all because has a "usb in" instead of using any USB hub in my Laptop that would affected the processing of the signals. The volt 276 sounds great with the easy fast compression for live sessions. but the Lewitt connect 6 ???Audient id24?? the SSL2?? thanks!
For a voice over, podcast and other recorded vocals..not live streaming or music stuff .. for max 2 mics input need which is the best interface under 300 ..lewitt 6 or audient id14 or ssl2 or motu M2 ?
Very unusual form on this thing, I don't like it but it might grow on me just like the Tesla truck did - I hated it when it first came out and now I love it
I was shocked the other day when I've compared my Api clone and my Audient evo and I've found out that the second has more gain available and made a gefell dynamic mic sound really good (those mics need a lot of gain!).
Neat review. I would really like to see review of this new Avid Mbox Studio by you, because it’s hard to trust super excited, possibly overhyped, sponsored videos out there!
Thanks! I've been eying this one since Warren took a deep look at it. I noticed you are using a Lewitt mic, as well. Sounds nice. Wondering how you are liking it.
For those of us who are real drummers and do not use machines, or electronic drums we do need more than 2 inputs, but I wish that was around 10 years ago, I would have bought it for sure. Most interfaces like t6hat do not have dsp built in either, I sense that is about to change. I do love their mics, and some are very reasonably price wise too along with Se and Austrian Microphones. Time to put those giants in their place!
Dude Lewitt is a really good company! There’s no scam here! I own there best mic after shooting out multiple ones! It’s really hard to say anything bad about this company!
for real, I'd love for him to preface that this is an advertisement and not a review. loved his old real takes on plugins and hardware, this feels more scripted or signed off from by lewitt
Let's be real. Leweitt's got him in their pocket but if the price was right then I'd do it too. I don't trust his videos anymore tho. This is just another nail in the coffin.
It's irrelevant if the company is good or not... It's clearly an ad, and he should disclose that at the start of the video. He always prides himself on being independent, well, clearly he wasn't independent in this case.
Come on man i cant believe you its input is better than apogee symphony desktop ? And the output of symphony desktop is just a little bit better ? Ok maybe it is better than the apogee boom or apollo solo but nah i cant trust your review 🤷🏻♂️
Julian krause show that connect 6 just has 100db dynamic range for mic input then you said in has better A/D than apogee symphony desktop you and your reviewing methods are a joke 🤝
Oh come on, Present Day Production already sold me on this. Two headphone jacks, iPhone support, it's small. Likre really small. I literally had a bigger cell phone just a couple of decades ago :D Sold. How does the DSP hold up to RME or Motu converters? I dont know, I dont care.
Insane compression/limiting seems to be the culprit. I turned it really low to be able to listen, like a 60 mm fader 3 mm from the bottom. Also, the mic could be positioned a bit to the side to avoid mouthy sounds directly ahead. Further, it is a common mistake to lower one´s voice in a quiet room to whisper/mumble and then have to boost and compress the signal to a sufficient level and to even the dynamics, making the audio pretty much unusable. This is a pet peeve of mine.
Thanks for the thoughtful review! If anyone has any additional questions, we will answer them here.
Hello - is it possible to apply EQ to an output (for loudspeakers or headphones) using the interface's onboard DSP?
??? Questions ???
Pancakes or Waffles?
how much did you pay him to make this video?
HELLO LEWITT does your interface software run on our computer cpu..
thus having another program running while mixing or recording?
Love the intro! Technology that gets out of the way of the creative process is a good thing, and our recent live stream was SO easy with this interface!

Audeze Nuts
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahaha xD
Ha!
Bruh
Aww

As you asked for in the video. Reminder😊Show your Connect 6 after one year of traveling.

So Wytse, how's the current state of your travel interface?
(You wanted to be reminded in a year...)

Lol exactly... reminds me of my Nvidia Shield

A limited 2 year warranty doesn't help when longevity is the concern.
What's that 1u covered thing in that rack in front of you? Review coming up?

just bought it and returned it. Some essential stuff missing: Pan on input 1 + 2 for mix 1 + 2, stable drivers, reliable storage of presets...
Win or Mac?
@@koenignero win

Does the driver allow for control of Mac core/system audio levels from the knob? - e.g. monitor volume, etc
yes
@@Whiteseastudio Brilliant - thank you for taking time to repond.
Neat interface and love the ease of use on the software, those wizards save so much freaking time!
Thanks a lot 😁
How does this compare to the Mackie big knob interfaces? Those have so much utility
I have (Had) the big knob studio, dead in 6 mths...went online and it's a common thing...waste of time...SSL 12 next
Great review I want one now

10 years ago? I'm sure there's a whole lot of stuff you wish was around 10 years ago. We all do. Lol
I've been looking for a interface and the Levitt seems like a good product . Great content 👌
Thank you so much 😀
Darth Vader would be proud with this interface from the dark side. Looks like a gamer toy recommended for teenage boys 12-17 only.
May the Force be with you 😉
Really not conviced by the thinking VS create argument in the intro, but the interface does indeed seems good and interesting !
is it worth 300.- ?
Hi can u do a video on alternative for summing mxer.... If u can get something in the same ball park like a mixer or something
@Lewitt
very good microphones, now audiointerface, we can hope for a nice headphone sometimes..?
Let us write that down 😉
Is InstaChord 2 Snake Oil by W. A. Production?
No. It takes a little while to learn how to use it though.
great videos you put out man.
pls test it with the RME :-D
I don't know… at this point it really feels like you are making a lot of advertisement for Lewit.
Dude Lewitt is a really good company! There’s no scam here! I own there best mic after shooting out multiple ones! It’s really hard to say anything bad about this company!

This is an ad
whats that mean "the inputs performed better"
More Gain?
Someone wants to keep that tester unit 😂
Haha, we always find this super flattering to be honest 😁
Paid oil/not oil video or just an unpaid oil/not oil review/video?
Great intro.
Big speaker big speakers but i see that ¿LCDX? in the back hehehhhe
Avid released Mbox Studio today
not available or in stock until november...this Lewitt is available NOW
You need to use RX Mouth De-click on your voice.
xD
lol
Better to use less compression and/or mic from the side to avoid the problem during recording.
Big sky review please
Wow, this thing looks hideous 😮
I think you have a crush on Lewitt ;P but great videos as always. I've been looking at their 441 flex for a while, but never decided to jump yet.
That's awesome, let us know how you like it once you manage to give it a try 😁
Hmm 🤔 it looks like something space age or Darth Vader might weaponize hehehe...
What do you hide under that black blanket?
That thing looks ugly. And not that ergonomic. The features do look great.
Looks like a graphics card
I hate latency
Comment for da algorithm

Was it everything you hoped for?

Thank you so much for your kind words, we're happy to hear that you want to give CONNECT 6 a try 😁
Jeez... clean your audio 🤢
Edit: tried to power through but couldn't make it past 2mins. Hopefully you reupload as I have interest in this interface.
What?

don't overact.. stay real
A Rhodes Killer.
In my opinion it looks cheap and like a toy for the "cool" podcast-kiddies.
man i want one !
Awesome! 😁
