Build quality lacks a bit but its light and you can easily take it with you. Sitting on the desk plastic won't bother me. The features are the things that I mostly interested in and tons with this and this thing handled the sm7b with ease. Thank You for the video Sir.
These interfaces have come along way, but yes, it does look cheap. The way stuff piles up on my desk, I think it would get crushed or knocked off pretty quickly. The one control I want on the box is a mute all button, then slowly increase the volume back up. Thanks for the review, I have to check out the other review.
Three questions; 1. Did the routing have any issues when brining in a discord or zoom chat? 2. Did OBS create problems for the DSP? 3. Is the 48v a legit 48v or is it going to kill my Ethos? These issues killed the RCP2 for me. But if they aren’t present on the Lewitt, my revelator is about to be up for sale.
This thing opens a new array in the range of portable interfaces. It as some flaws, but a lot of innovative features too. The quality of what you can get seems to be really incredible. I'm thinking buying this thing just for vocals. I'm presently on an Apollo.
I own one of these and sure, build quality is a little so so and it's very light but in a way, that's not always a bad thing. Really amazing for the price
For a voice over, podcast and other recorded vocals..not live streaming or music stuff .. for max 2 mics input need which is the best interface under 300 ..lewitt 6 or audient id14 or ssl2 or motu M2 ?
Thoughts as a revelator io24 owner. Revelator is cheaper, better build quality, screen is nice and handy for adjustments when other software us running, the slightly up face is nice, fun voice effects.

What is your gold standard audio interface? What interface would you choose if you were suddenly contracted with a major contract that you just have to accept? What would you choose if you had to squeeze out that one last percent to bless some ears? What mic would you combine it with? Would love to hear your opinion on this! 🤍
@@DarkCornerStudios First of all thank you for noting that. Looking forward. I am currently in the situation of wanting to start professional music recording here in Germany. nice choice of port on the rear, great powerPreamp, supernice DSP and ... damn! 32Ohm headphone impedance output and cirrus codec like a multimedia Car stuff on a 300$ interface !?
I did a research and the problem lies in headphone impediance . Cups with low ipedance will boost the bass. Tge other thing is that it has no hi-z instrument input.
Ummmm....no...and no. Not how impedance works...and if you look at the xlr combo Jack's you will CLEARLY see the TWO instrument inputs. Your research was flawed

FRUSTRATED VIEWER ALERT. First off, GREAT REVIEW as always. Especially as there's SO MUCH STUFF out there to choose from. But I find myself frustrated because, well... let me ask this, Mr. Aiden... how hard SHOULD IT BE to set up a recording for a podcast for someone else at a 'REMOTE' location? With the talent being far far away (and not tech oriented), it's been tough. I finally get it perfect, then I think the input volume in changes as she does other stuff on the Mac (Zoom, I blame YOU for this, even tho I checked that one box). Over 10 episodes and we got it PERFECT. Then, she moved out of the closet and into her office and we're dropping S's and T's and, well, it's frustrating. I can't tinker with the audio all day like I can at home. Am I missing something? Am I making this harder than it needs to be?
So...if you need the gain and the dsp effects...this is a no brainer at the price. Depends on what you are using now. As of now, this thing will have the best price to performance UNDER 400
No matter what I do I can not get the sound from my Mac into OBS with this. it will send in the live mike out of sync and it shows the Mac audio playing on A I have everything set to but it is not being sent out into OBS our ATEM no matter what setting I use. The mike input sounds great. But after many hours changing out wires and changing setting I just can not get it to work to use. For one if you send A to one camera and send B to a second camera you then have no way to hear both A and B on your headphone you can only pick A or B not both so no good for splitting them into two cameras. No way to send A and B into OBS or anything as split channels so you can do audio delay to sync up to your camera for each channel. I had high hopes for this I love the small size and the inputs are all I need. If you use two cameras and play an instrument in USB then you will see you have no way to sync up your cams to be in sync with the audio. Even the two back audio outputs are both tied together so no way to say mute just your front powered speakers when recording and keep the other on going out to a camera feed.
Having purchased the Revelator IO44 less than 24hrs ago and already boxed it back up to return as it's a terrible product. Go with the Lewitt. Used to be a presonus fan, not anymore
