I see the advantage of this plate for hole shots. But not for the issue you showed. I call BS. Your before video you stopped too fast and your wake overtook your stern. Your after video you can tell you did not do the same thing to test. You slowed suddenly then kept on the thottle, but not down to idle, to keep ahead of your wake. This item is not mandatory! I have jack plates on 2 of my 5 boats I use in the water including a little speed boat that at rest the back of the boat is only inches out of the water with a 10 inch Jack plate. And i can get the same results as your after shot controlling the throttle same as you did.
