Think we need some new blast from the past videos! The under/over are awesome as well, but let's be real, MOST ppl can't afford to even think about the new boats. Great video man.

I'll have to say Andy, this is probably my favorite video you've done(and i watch them all). Showing maintenance issues and how to fix it helps tremendously for us do-it-yourselfers! Owning a boat is very expensive and again, it helps tremendously. Thank you for your compassion and love for the youth and military also. Hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful Chistmas and a Happy New Year!!! ❤😊

Well after watching your message here. I checked the four bolts attaching the motor to the jack plate on my 20xp with 36 hrs. It is amazing how loose those bolts were!! Scary!

Thanks Andy and crew. More like this please. I know you said you dont have all the torque specs, but maybe a quick reference if you have the books plus experience handy? Heck we can make a pdf and put it on your site or something.
Another idea is: Maybe a trailer maintenance checklist?

Hello, Sir, I would like to ask you. On a manual jack plate do have to use the bar on the jack plate to tighten the bolts or can you just use a shorter bolt and go bolt to nut without a bar?

Hey Team Marine Good Morning. I was watching one of your Atlas Jack Plate Maintenance video. I was pretty sure you said other than cleaning & lubing the slides, inspecting all the mounting hardware, an Atlas Jack Plate requires zero maintenance.
I have an Atlas Micro Jacker, same with mine? Please guide me. Thank you kindly. Jimmy B.

Andy why does no one install a Jack Plate on Tin Walleye Boats ? I am looking at a a 18ft with a 115=150hp motor and I never see one with a Jack plate on one for sale new. Is the performance gain not worth the cost. Great Information Andy.

Andy, could you go a bit more in-depth on the manual? I have a slidemaster, and the view you gave of the outside only didn't show what I needed. Should the center bolt be always tight?
