@@shanegrush exactly! Even the tutorials on URM were a bit over my head, so I've been shying away from deep-diving and making it work for me, simply 'cause the learning curve was so high, initially. Cheers!
@@danymalsoundsame here. I have a stream deck I’ve never used because I found none of the stock SoundFlow features to be useful for me. I’m way faster with key commands. All the cool useful features seem like I have to learn Latin first to even get started. This, in the other hand, is super straightforward! Entirely useful. 🙏🏻 SoundFlow would be wise to sponsor more videos like this.
Nice, @mattmullin33609! I realize that I get excited about workflow and tech-y stuff. My thoughts on that are if I can work efficiently I can handle whatever demand comes my way. I love the idea of turning 12 hour days into 8 hour days.
Oh, you’ll love the SoundFlow stuff then. It takes a bit to set up, but once you have it, it’s worth it. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for tuning in.
Hi Shane! Thanks for making this video. I am new to Soundflow, but I really see how this can speed up my mix prep prosess. One question though... Is it possible to make a macro to recall the track data AND move it to the right folder?
Hey man, welcome! I don’t think you can move tracks or audio with SoundFlow (since it’s not a native function inside of PT). You might want to ask them - their support is pretty solid. You can automate any track data you prefer, though!
@@shanegrush I actually think you can, because on Fab Dupont's latest video on Puremix he does exactly that. He sais that Mark Abrams has made a package you can download at the Soundflow Store. But it's not there...
Oh yeah, I’ve mixed multiple genres without any hang ups. Of course, you still have to put a mix on it, but the template is SO good. So good, I almost hate talking about it. 😂
This is LITERALLY the best demo of how to do these, even compared to their own company tutorials. You're brilliant. thanks man!
Thanks, man! I noticed there wasn’t much out there on how to set things up. Glad you found this useful. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Thanks! I'm using MHB's mix template too. Mix prep has been taking me ages though, so this is really helpful.

Looks like a live band template, I'm wondering if it'll work with electronic music
