That Audi body is insanely rare. They will never re re it. Can't wait you to paint the Audi shell. Will remind me of Christmas 1983, when I got mine :)
I would bet that the Bullhead build (start to finish) would be quite time consuming as compared to other Tamiya kits. Certainly sounds like a great build and a great addition to the collection!
My first Tamiya bought from new was that Bullhead. I really wanted a Clod but the store had no in stock. However he did have all the Clod body parts available. So he removed the Bullhead body parts and replaced it with Clod parts. I painted the body to match the yellow bumpers. I think I had a unique Clod for sure. Was over the moon when I got it and I really enjoyed building it. Sadly I traded it for two Kyosho nitro cars, Pug 405 and the Escort Cosworth. But those engines never ran rigth. I learned years later if I fitted exhast pressure fittings the problem would have been solved as the pressure hose was just fitted into a hole in the muffler, which made the pressure hose shrink due the heat which in turn made less pressure as you drove. I regretting that trading big time since late 90s (Got the Bullhead approx 92') so much that this spring I bought the Clod from Tamiyabase site where it is featured in the Clod chassis page. Tamiyabase is driven by a friend of mine here in Norway.
The way your extending your words in this video it Sounds like you are channelling your inner macho man Randy savage in this video. Oohhh yeahhh dig it! The cream of the crop!.
Tge bullhead was a direct copy of an 80’s monster truck which I can’t recall the name of right now. The real truck was red with a blue frame, Tamiya did it in reverse
Man that Bullhead box is just ginormous! Some great finds and I think we are all looking forward to your new studio so we can see all these amazing kits on display too! The Zahhak is a cool buggy, I like the style of it and the cool dragon decals! I know it not a fan favorite but I do like that one! Great stuff!!!
Good Buyee haul! I love those Sand Scorcher wheels. Big fan of the Sand Scorcher. I never heard of a Zahhak before..I think it's a cool looking body. And an original Bullhead...love it! Great video again. 👍👍
Always excited to see what’s new when your videos come out. The bullhead is awesome and can’t wait to see all the big monster truck’s together, those are definitely some of my favorites! I just finished my Jugg 2 and I think it might be my favorite of my txt-1 and original clod. I’m just happy to have those 3 lol. Thanks again for sharing and hope all is going well with your new studio build and track👍🏻
Yes, the Bullhead was modeled after the real 1980's - '90s monster truck , The "Super Pete". MCI makes a super pete decal set. It was a gorgeous truck. Keith you should try to pickup a Kyosho Heavy Metal if you can find one, super rare and little info online about them, it too was modeled after a real tracked monster truck from the late 80's early 90's
There's some good posts on Tamiyaclub about the differences between 201 and DN-01. Main ones are 201 has reinforced plastics on chassis, shock towers, arms etc. Aeration dampers and titanium turnbuckles. Seems to be the main reason the Zahhak didn't sell that well is that it wasn't cheap enough compared to 201.
Great video. Got back into Tamiya kits during Lockdown and went mad! Purchased 3x Zahhak and 1x Japanese kit with the pink wheels - not built any yet sadly as swamped in kits and to be honest a little overwhelming but makes me feel good that I have them all
Wow those rims look like they’ve got some quality to em. I think the Zahhak is refreshing, so many people updated and hopped em up to 201 standards when the car is quality already. On the Zahhak I would only change the ball diff to 201. Great video Keith love the Buyeeeeeeee Bargain video’s.
Agree with you Keith the Bullhead is epic! I have never seen one in person l imagine its really something to see in person! Long live the Clod of course but l have enough love for them both! Scorcher wheels are hot too mate.
I never liked the Bullhead back in the day, but I have to admit it's grown on me over the years, although I still prefer the Clod! And the DN-01 Zahhak, for me one of the coolest looking buggy kits ever, I'd love one, but I'm unemployed right now so I have other priorities. Awesome video as always Keith, loving the content!!
Shipping from Buyee to the US via EMS is no different then any other country. If I ship a kit from Australia, Japan, Taiwan, or any other country that side of the world it always runs about $100 per kit. I am willing to pay that to have it in 5 days or less. That is normal kit box like an Egress. Not sure if yours is more. Maybe it has something to do with taxes or import fees.
And yet another great haul. lol... never heard from or saw the Zahhak before. The Sand Scorcher wheels are beautiful, but i couldn't see if they are beadlock wheels. I got a set from Scorched Parts RC and they too are 2 pieces aluminium, but there is a plastic ring with them for beadlock the wheels.
I can kind of relate. I've probably mentioned it before, but for me my weak spot is OG Ultimas. Every time I see one for sale, especially if it's cheap, I contemplate getting it, even though I have a couple, the re-re, and bought and restored one for one of my sons. I am addicted. The other is the Hornet, I always think about it when I see one for sale.
I know the feeling tick fever as Dave Letterman called it! You just see one and you got it Hhha! 👍 awesome video as always 👏 the DN01 is so cool!! i have wanted one for some time i hope to have one someday 🙏 keep the videos coming the world needs them.

People spending $200 on RCChannel wheels is ridiculous when RCChannel themselves still list them at $80 plus postage. I have their XR311 conversion and it makes the XR311 much more capable.
Great video Keith, loved it sone very cool finds there. I really like the Zahhak it’s a bit fugly but I like it and it’s just a slightly cheaper 201 which is ace. The bullhead is another super find especially in that condition . Look forward to seeing that Audi all done as well. Great content :)
bro found some good stuff :D The old lancia and quattro bodies are a nice find. The massive wheel wells on the old 037 are hilarious compared to the patched up ones they did the Ta03RS.

Just had this issue and told them I want to cancel. Paid a premium for vintage nib kits and they want to open stuff and pull it out. They said they can’t refund and I explained that’s not what I paid for. Had to get PayPal involved
@@RRoy83 tbh, i couldn't pass my deal as the car is rare. I eventually allowed them to open and they will send me pics of what they are taking out. Will update here once I get the info
@@IIIxwaveIIII grabbed some pretty rare ones as well. Kyosho Pro X Japan only plus version, Tamiya Jun Watanabe, Tamiya Lamborghini LP500S and a super rare Clod chassis with GPM axles. They told me they couldn’t take a pic of the removed stuff but I could request photos of what’s left once they remove. That’s why I decided to get PayPal involved, well over $2k in purchases

Ive been eyeing the zahak as well as a few others for years now….of course i have to wake up and see this video…just started…
Lol
Sorry
That Zahhak is one of my grails! Absolutely love that car.
It has a way of grabbing your attention.
tamiya was most likely thinking of the monster truck "super pete" when they designed the bullhead...
Yes
Just finished building my Zahhak. I’m not too keen on the body, so buying another body. Keep the videos coming. They are great to watch.
What are you doing with it. I will trade a new 201 body if you’ll like
