When him and McCulloch escaped there was a warning came on the telly in the middle of Coronation Street telling u to lock all your doors and windows.It was like the Halloween movie.Dont know if that warning went out everywhere but it went out in Lanarkshire.I remember it as a kid.
Before ma time but was all over scotland mate,read few books about or,big mans spot on way his facts,,,a rember one them in batlinnine, think was one its still in,awe the younger boys m alot People were looking in his spy hole,so he put tallk powder out side his door so could follow footsteeps ,n he tried to scald some wee guy way hat water or tea somthing ,aye mate they should never walk the streets again vermin,think they got about 5 bodeys between them and load other shirt and what he said he done with teacher n couple we lassies was disgusting,all thè.best pal
That warning came over the telly in the Borders as well, my family were living on a farm at the time, in the middle of nowhere it seemed !

Tht was the same time joe steele tried to escape in a doctor coat made ot to the main reception and one of the screws recognised him he was running about all over the football pitches getting chased from dozens of screws 😂😂😂

@@TinPailTV ye to get into the surgery then changed into doctor whites at tht time the surgery was connected with the visit hall and main reception where they all come in he must have been like 30 steps from the door was crazy watching the jail go nuts watching him at the windows lol surgery and visit hall were upstairs and the main doors were underneath them it was literally down 2 flights 15 steps to the glass windows and 10 steps to the outside

@@briansmith6966 It was Polmont mate. I'd never done the DC in Glenochil but went to the new Glenochil in 2007 after I got downgraded from the Castle but kept shouting for a move back to Shotts and went back to Shotts in February 2008.

His old man Sonny Mone was a monster,he got stabbed to death in the jail.
He was in the Regiment I was in The Gordon Highlanders and my uncle was in at the same time as that Robert Mone and he was hated and a cruel man apparently.

@@AULDSKOOLTV I knew McCulloch from Shotts Education Department in 2004 and then he moved somewhere else and Mone appeared in Kerr House start of 2006. But aye very unassuming. Many psychopaths usually are.
Mate i remembered my wee granda telling me abt that demon he was a total madman. am really surprised that no one in the jail up to this point hasn't taking him out already....did he know do someone in by pouring boiling water over that individual , heard something abt that is that true??
I remember my granny telling me about him when I was a wee boy. Aye I heard he threw boiling water over someone while he was in Perth nick (I think it was Perth). But that was a drop in the ocean in comparison to everything else he did in his wretched life.

Kris mate any dealings with Robbie Mcintosh from Dundee? Was around 2003 (think he was 15 at the time) he murdered a lady on the Law Hill by stabbing her 40 times or so. Then about 5 years ago he was on day release and bashed another poor lady close to his homestay. He's around our age. TBH I have no idea where he served his time but strongly suspect Polmont then Shotts.
Nah bro. I know who he is and am a little bit familiar with his case. But he would be a protection prisoner due to the nature of his charges whereas I was in the mainstream prisoner population. He woulda been lumped in with the beasts and that. I may make a video about his case even though I don't know him cos it was a notorious case that actually had an impact on home leaves and parole.

My wife was in his class at school and even the night he killed that poor lady Lynn on the Law he went to the newsagent where my wife was working that night and told her someone had been killed on the law. Surely he's sociopathic or on the dark triad somewhere to convince psych's he's suitable for parole all while having the ability to commit extreme acts of violence against vulnerable people who are not a threat to him. They got that wrong. Interested to hear how this has impacted current prisoners. Can't see them being too happy.

Wasn't it his foster mum he stabbed the first time? I remember reading about it. I went away in 2003 and people like me always remember this stuff. There's a documentary on RUclips about him. Have you seen it?
Would he not have been sent to rossie out side Montrose at tht age beside Jaime buldgers killers thts where they went the lad not sure what his name was but ended up getting redone for nonce charges use to get day release to go shopping in Montrose

Mone was sexually abused as a young boy. In the Army, he was targeted by fellow soldiers because he saw something and told the hierarchy rather than keep his mouth shut. He also attempted suicide a few times and failed. I think he was a powderkeg waiting to happen.
I was in Perth prison with Rab mone when he slashed tht 16yo after raping him he looks like a wee old man unbelievable tht he was capable of what he did then he got moved into the special housing unit inside Perth my brother Wayne mcgettigan ended up in his pad when he got moved
I heard about that incident but didn't know if it were true or not. You know what it's like at times. Yeah he was a skinny wee frail looking guy but the things he did are off the charts. I met McCulloch in the Education department in Shotts but that was a few years before Mone came. McCulloch was away by then.
@@TinPailTV the lad it happened to ended up on Ewing with us as passmen the special unit mone went into was inside ehall poor lad had to see him every canteen day by tht time they had stopped the release for things like tht happening inside but fair play to Eck he never went back to the other halls he done his time in there with us making sure he was ok 👍👍
