Brilliant orchestra. All too often we forget the work that goes into making a film score. We hear it whilst watching the movie and if we like it we listen it on DVD or youtube and give credit sometimes to the person who wrote the music. Rarely do we think of the orchestra, the skill of the players, who have to get it just right. Funny. An American soldier, watching an italian movie depicting a splinter of old west with an American actor with a director born and grown in Rome. My hero academia
His son is pretty damned good and I'd say that the wolverine actor is marvelous. In general though, I agree,
I can! 🖐️
I first watched this movie as a Christmas treat while in Marine Corp boot camp. Drafted December 1969.
Funny.
An American soldier, watching an italian movie depicting a splinter of old west with an American actor with a director born and grown in Rome.
The composer of those musica Is Roman as well and a school fellow of the director.
That kind of western movies was in some way more "western" but also more modern and realistic than Hollywood's old way.
That was great cinema.
The power of imagination through Image and music.
@@fabrizioviotti6872 No offense but maybe you and MOONBASE don't realize that a Marine is not a soldier. There is a difference in the training they receive and in their objectives.
@@fabrizioviotti6872 Or Americans enjoying music, played by Danes, composed by an Italian about an imaginary America that never existed. Still, great music, and she can really whistle.
This just gets better every time I listen to it and gives me strength for any task ahead. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All of you are awesome.
I like to dedicate this to my Dad who got me and my siblings into Spaghetti Western. 4 /27/49- 12/4/20
Same here. I dedicate it to my Dad who introduced me to Western movies. He will forever live long in my heart.

sorry about your dad
Good dad he was. My respects.
A masterpiece of all time...who is listening to this in 2024?

Ubetcha... All of the Eastwood western music.
So am I.
Where are y from guys?

Morricone ....
Music that is done by a symphony orchestra is always the finest.
It's wonderful how the Morricone music grows old better and better. And so Sergio Leone's movies, cinema masterclasses.
She is wonderful. She has encouraged me to take up singing again. I try to whistle and hum along with her.
BRAVO
One of the best things of being part of an orchestra besides fulfilling a passion for music is getting tickets to hear all the other instrumentalists and vocalists perform for free !!
@Danish National Symphony Orchestra, should definately go ahead and create some more historical event videos for all of us to listen....
Younger generation ain't aware of such music...
They must be made aware of such music by listening to them....
That is actually one of their key points. To bring awareness to young people, inspire them and develop their talents and potential. This has been one of their cornor stones sinch they were founded in 1925. Danes are smart cookies and way ahead many when we speak of human development. Your idea is not new but 100 years old, literally.
An Italian Master for a Wonderful Orchestra. The Greatest tribute i I've ever listen. Good Job, Denmark! From Italy
Patrick Vernuccio. Non olvidare che i Danesi siano descendenti dei Vichinghi. Geniali in cada cosa. Ma troppo toleranti ahora. Finche...
He was Pakistani
dwr1982 Who was Pakistani?
Johan van der Meulen ennio
What?!?
Absolutely brilliant, the layers of sound, the complexity of instruments and vocals!
Amazing! Love all the music from Clint Eastwood's Spaghetti Westerns. The Man With No Name lives on.
Sara Hicks is Great to do this. Wonderful . . . .
These videos really reinforce just how much of a role music plays in the movies. Listening to these sent all my favorite scenes wizzing through my head.
yeah Bob I had the same deal
The very best rendition I have ever heard, bravo! hats off to the best orchestra on the planet!
Tarrantino lead me to this. Been going over his movies. After kill bill and inglorious i had a serious yearning for some Morricone. Pulled up the surrender from the big gundown/inglorious and then found the Danish Orchestra. The most amazing set of videos i have had the pleasure of watching in a good long while.
11 concerts performed by Denmarks Radios Symphony Orchestra, enjoy 😊: www.dr.dk/drtv/serie/dr2-soundtrack_162433

I like them movies but never thought about how the sound tracks were constructed. Bloody interesting, inspirational, bloody marvellous. Now when I see them again I can enjoy them from a different perspective. Thanks for sharing. Utube, my university.💎💎💎💎💎

I mean....how badass is the Danish National SO. You guys rock.
we are very proud of them.. so versatile , done all from mozart, bethoven etc.. to film music and musicals,, so thanks a million for you'r words
This is pretty much standard. Great performance for sure, but pretty standard.
People will always dislike things they don't understand or can appreciate the work and talent that's involved performing a matser piece.
SHE is exotic and an excellent performer , with that whisling talent .
My Dad, George, passed away 3 months ago. He loved spaghetti Westerns and we watched them together whenever they were on TV in the 70s and 80s. I really wish he could see this. x
