Owning a real VH4 stereo turquoise panel... This does just sound a little bit like a VH4. The deep growl that hits so hard is the signature thing of the VH4 that basically almost no company is able to copy or profile. You can also hear this on lead playing. If you hit a high note, on the real amp, there's a deep subnote that pushes air, none of the captures have those. Nothing against the quad cortex. There are just some amps out there that can't be really modeled. I've tried it with fractal, Kemper, Helix and the quad. Neverless I play modelers since years for gigging. Sometimes in 5CM but I'm too lazy to carry my two 4x12 😅 Audience doesn't notice anyway. And most bands play with Klick and backing tracks that eat up 50-70% of their sound anyway too. So there is less space frequencywise
