And I accept that when we're out a club, etc. she'll divide her attention between me and a lot of old friends and new friends. Since I'm friendly and not a jealous person and I speak some Spanish and dance some Bachata and Merengue I quickly become part of the good time everyone is having.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Dominican don't like to see anyone not enjoying themselves if you are out partying with them. It sounds like you fit right. Thats so good to hear.
@@NorberisR Thank you. Yes, I'm more at peace, more at home in RD than I am in my US town. Living in Manhattan NYC it seems most of the people here think they need to spend a lot of money to have a good time. In the RD I've enjoyed a wonderful day/night with about 8 Dominican friends at beautiful spot by a river, and when it became dark we went to a colmado and drank and danced a few more hours. I payed for everything. The whole day/night cost me about 3000 pesos, about $60 US dollars. A cocktail for one person in a NYC club is by comparison about $15. In the Dominican Republic for $15 dollars/750 pesos I can buy about 6 Presidente Grande size beers with some plastic cups and the whole group is happy.
Many Americans say the same thing. You're right the prices here in the States are ridiculous. You got me wanting a ice cold Jumbo Presidente now...lol!

Thanks for sharing. There is always a challenge in a relationship if two people are from vastly different cultures especially if there is a language difference it makes it more challenging.
The last part you said about meeting people acting like they know them for years... That's my old lady. She's the same way. OH my God. She just meet her, and act like she knowing her for years.

What you said about dancing in 5:21 is the absolute truth!! You must learn to dance if you want to date a Latina. That was one of the reasons I strated learning bachata because from the moment you get in a Latin club till you ready to leave you dance!! And I really liked that😊

What you say about Americans in dancing depends on the region. Growing up on the south side of Chicago for example, it was very common during my teens and twenties to go to a party by 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. and dance until 5:00 or 6:00 a.m. very common.

I’m part Dominican. My mom is Dominican and my dad is from Pakistan. I hate how I don’t know Spanish as much and know how to dance. I was raised more with my dads family when it came to the culture and the language. I wish I grew up with all the Dominican qualities and all the amazing things these Dominican women do. I been told I act Dominican, and that’s only because I’m crazy they say lol. My attitude is like theirs I guess. (If haven’t visit DR, you should definitely go! It’s so beautiful there!)
I enjoyed visiting DR for the first time 2 weeks ago. I already miss it. Lol. I already loved Dominican women. You made some good points. I don't use curse words much and I plan to learn salsa and bachata.
@@NorberisR Wow. Hard to say. I like the city, maybe minus all the blowing horns for no reason at ALL! But the beach was so relaxing; and the fish was fantastic! Our original plan was Sosua but we heard different stories about that place. Any suggestions for my next visit?
@@s001til For a 1st trip its a good thing you didn't go to Sosua. Although it is a nice beach town its known for one thing. If you 're not traveling for that, then to spend your entire vacation there would have been a waste especially if traveling with another woman. I'm not against Sosua because I plan to go back at some point but I couldn't spend more than 2 to 3 days there. Other places I would recommend is Higuey which is near Punta Cana, Barahona, San Francisco De Macoris, Las Terrenas, and Samana.
Sounds to me like Dominican culture is much more sincere, passionate, and good spirited; much more than the typical American cultural norms. It's no wonder that there are demographics of single American men who relocate temporarily or permanently to the DR! Such a lovely lady here on this channel. Thank you!
Current hip hop, most of it is bad. When I was young, growing up, Hip Hop was about dancing, being positive, it was about having fun, not violence, drugs and whatever. Now, certain big record companies decided to promote 'negative' hip hop around the world to make sales. You have to be trained to be able to find good hip hop, r&b and pop music now. Not everyone likes gangster hip hop. Good video. Cheers.
This woman is amazing...I dated Dominican women before..I recently met one off a dating app and she had me video chatting her mom. I really like this girl, its amazing. The culture is so vibrant and i notice these girls always ask every day ,"Tu comiste?" meaning..did you eat? I love it
Lol, this is a cool video. This video offers much clarification. I knew mainly Mexican culture when it comes to latin culture, in California you'd probably be grouped with the Mexicans because you're spanish speaking, and extremely latiny.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've been to California and the Latin culture is definitely Mexican. When I was in Alabama that's the bucket they put me in when they heard me speaking Spanish...lol
Been enjoying your videos. I like your shirt! It looks good on you! :) I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I plan on moving to the D.R. this Fall. keep up the good work!
I am just recently engaged with a beautiful Dominican woman. We have a very good story and you should interview us. I think we can give really good insight on cultural differences and the pros and cons

Wow! Just finished watching your video and I must say thank you. This is a motivator and I met a beautiful Dominican woman 4 months ago on social media and we been video chatting, texting and talking on the like crazy. I’m making plans to visit her next year and she’s excited.

Anyway I love your channel !!!keep ‘em coming 💕💕💕💕
What about being to friendly like social with other men if the Dominican women is in a relationship do she see anything wrong with being friendly to other men
I grew around Puerto Ricans in the northeast so I know how to dance Bachata, salsa, merengue etc.. I guess when I come down there next month to Puerto Plata I can dance with a young lady ?
Wow! Congratulations. I love to hear that. There are many many amazing women there, but unfortunately, the other type of women get all the promotion! I hope you spread the word that finding a good women is possible.
Norberis I must say that you are a very beautiful woman, and you make me want to pack up my stuff and leave the US and go visit my roots and find me a beautiful Dominican woman so she can teach me how to dance bachata. I’m a American with Dominican decent. Both of my parents are Dominican but I’m so used to the American culture and I really believe it’s time for me to go visit and maybe never coming back. Thank you for the videos that you make I appreciate them and I’m learning as I watched them.
Hi I am stumbled across your page because I look at a lot of dominican videos for as the country and I also travel to Dominican Republic least 3 times a year for lease 5 years now and I am curious to know do you teach Spanish
@@DukeSaragono So there are many Dominicans in New Jersey. Strike up a conversation about Dominican Republic or the culture. Is she a native born Dominican or US Born?
Norberis R. She’s Native Born, she says she been here 21 years but she has a heavy domincan accent. I asked her for her number and she gave it to me but barley answer my text so idk maybe she has a boyfriend even thou she told me she single
@@NorberisR I can dance :-), I'm just a home body for the most part. Seeing that "She" will probably be younger... She will probably want to go out and dance more than I will... As for #5, that will only apply if I get very, very serious with someone :-)
@@jodahamunra686 Understood. Keep in mind #5 like some of the others are things in the beginning that happen overtime as you know things change and people tend to understand each other more. So dont let #5 run you away...lol
I have Visited many Countries. One thing I do not understand is people playing Dominoes or Cards. Its Different if You play cards in a Casino but to play all day is Boring. I have seen this in mostly every country I been too.
@@NorberisR ...they play it in Every Country I have been Too...I have a Rule that if I can not make money off of it than I do not want to Play....lol...
Wow I love the information but I need to chat with you per email or phone or some way very important... about a Dominican woman and how the games they play how to know who is real I see other videos that say this and that and now I run across you and what you say I’d love to know more...!
I hope you experience more of American than just Alabama and texas. So much of what you say and identify as differences are actually similarities for inner cities like Chicago Detroit and new york. And I'd be almost willing to bet that if you found something you liked in Alabama or Texas you'd fall in love with Chicago and New York. Black families in Chicago hobbies are playing cards, cooking with family get togethers, dancing all night, similar to what you describe for Dominicans
Like I said, New York City and Chicago have experiences significantly different than what you're finding and describing in Texas and Alabama.... those are ABSOLUTELY the only two places you named. So if you do have experience in other cities you certainly never mentioned it
Well Norberis I kindly and respectfully disagree with a couple of things. With my experiences Dominicans use the word "coño" quite often which is a curse word. And a lot of the new wave of reggaeton with artists like Bad Bunny is similar to American hip hop minus the shooting and killing. 😁
Yes, I agree the new Reggaeton has a lot of street culture. However, cono is similar to "damn" which use all the time here. There is no comparison one word to multiple words used all the time "mf*this", "f*that, b*itch this, *sshole, "sh*"t, "son of a b*tch, "bastard"etc...I could go further. lol
This is correct. It has 2 meanings and we use it as a mild curse word. And yes it means "pussy" as well, but thats not the interpretation that people receive when we use that word. Can you imagine Dominicans calling each other or saying "pussy" all day long...lol! So if you say that to a Dominican we will not translate that you are calling us a pussy.
Hi Norberis.. Iam a new follower of your channel. Since a few moths I have a Domenican grilfriend here in the Netherlands. I like her a lot , honest and loving girlfriend. Any tipds from you ?
Sounds like everything is good. Keep doing what you doing. If she is in the Netherlands with you do things that remind her of her culture like cooking food, listen to music, or visit areas with a Dominicans population if there is one.
@@NorberisRThanks for your kind reaction ! At this right moment she is back to the motherland.:)).. but sadly in Quarantine for 10 days in Santo Domingo.. I don't know any truth to that. I moved to the US from Dominican Republic and my husband is black. So for me it's not true. I sometimes wonder where all these things come from about Dominican women...lol!
@@NorberisR Suspiciously popular "dating coaches" on here (one in particular) says this in a lot of his videos.I been thinking that he must be right, because according to him,Dominican women treat "black" men better in Dominican Republic than they do in the USA.According to him, they're goldiggers in the USA,but are extremely friendly prostitutes in the Dominican Republic. Therefore,it's extremely shocking to me that you're married to a "black" man in the USA,because this extremely popular "dating coach" on here swears that Dominican women don't like "black" men because they're parents (especially the fathers) are deeply racist against "black" men.I think this "dating coach" is probably a C.I.A. plant, because he's an actor in real life as well, and he came out of nowhere several years ago.
One thing I Disagree is Eating Time. A American Man will tell you that if You move to the U.S. there has to be some Adjustment on your Part. A Normal or Average American eats at 6am..noon...6pm...give or take one hour Difference. I normally eat lunch at 11am and Dinner at 5pm. I do not eat much Breakfast. I'm allergic to Eggs. If I was in a Relationship I would eat based on her Schedule. The point is to eat together. In my culture for Thanksgiving we eat from Thursday to Sunday night. No Sleeping. Just talking. Dancing. Eating. Laughing.
@@NorberisR ...it sounds like alot of Eating but its not all that much. Its mostly about Family. Cooking together..laughing...and we all have to Write a Speak on What we are Thankful For. My only Daughter Died 2 days before Thanksgiving 27 years ago. 5 years ago my Dad Died 1 day before Thanksgiving. So there is a Deeper meaning to my Family. Food is the way Human's warm the Body. Cooking is that way to Warm Someone's Heart. Cooking is the Love Poem we Write to those we Love.
hi Norberis, where can I find Dominican Women to date? Can you give me any tips where are best places online to find them? I love your tips and would appreciate if you can help me. i wanna marry a dominican beauty. love you, Ilya
Hi very nice video of how to treat a Dominican republic women I am a American Pakistan grew up in USA I am in a relationship with a Dominican women we both live same neighborhood new York true we both come from poor country she is a Latina with gold values 😎😉🇱🇷🇱🇷😙😗thanks
My Dominican woman has to step up her game with seasoning. I find the food to be similar to African/West Indian food but European seasoning. Yuck. She has to learn how to season food my way no doubt. I cooked Curry goat with scotch bonnet, Nigerian stew, Jamaican Jerk Chicken and oxtail in puerto plata. Some of her family couldn't handle the scotch bonnet peppers but they loves the taste. The rice and peas west indies style got stolen. They loved it
Yes, most Dominicans don't eat spicy foods. We typically season our foods well, its surprising she doesn't. We use a lot of Sazon and Adobo Seasoning. And fresh garlic.
@@NorberisR she had to agree that my Jamaican/Nigerian background brings more flavour 😝. Good combination because I do love Dominican food. I just jazz the seasoning with Garlic, Ginger, scotch bonnet spring onions, fresh thyme all which you can find in the local market in Puerto plata. Next time I visit will add my seasoning in mufongo and sancocho😅
For me who have never been a great dancer, dancing would he the most difficult thing for me in dating a Dominican woman. I love listening to Bachata, ballads, merengue, canciones de amor, and reggaeton but I can only dance to reggaeton and some canciones de amor..the slower music. But I think that might be a minute issue because clubbing won't be a major part of our lives.
Dominican women like to go out dancing its not necessarily a club but she will want you to take her dancing. So you better get use to it if you marry one.
Just be clear upfront that you will not be sending money to them for every problem they have and that you are not rich. Find a way to make that clear. You'll know then because if they aren't serious and they feel they can't get nothing out of you then they'll go away.
The poverty in the DR is a lot just like she says. I have to agree that I noticed the same thing when I was there when it comes to the people. They may be really poor but they don't seem all that aggressive or violent like some of the poor that you will encounter in poor American neighborhoods. Most of them are outgoing and friendly. My biggest annoyance when I was in Sosua is they really hound you down about buying merchandise from them damn near every where you go. And that's even on the beach when you're trying to relax.
What it's like dating a Dominican woman and what to expect from them. In this video, I list 10 things from my experience men should overcome when dating a Dominican woman. I love this video so much!!! I had to watch it again
Hahahah...awesome!
Thanks for a very informative video spoken from the heart of a Dominican woman who’s well versed & speaks from experience ✌🏾
De nada!
VERY GOOD TO KNOW THESE THINGS BECAUSE I AM GOING TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC VERY SOON
Glad it has been helpful.
I enjoyed visiting DR for the first time 2 weeks ago. I already miss it. Lol. I already loved Dominican women. You made some good points. I don't use curse words much and I plan to learn salsa and bachata.
It can have that effect on you...lol! Glad you enjoyed it. What area did you visit?
@@NorberisR I was in Santo Domingo (Piantini). Visited Juan Dolio beach. I do photography as a hobby so I had a blast.
@@s001til You were in mostly the non tourist cities. I'm sure you had a great time. Which did you like better, Santo Domingo or Juan Dolio.
Thank you!
you're welcome.
I love it
👍.

@@NorberisR I don't. I've been learning a little bit.

Yes, I've experienced more than just Alabama in the States.
There is no comparison one word to multiple words used all the time "mf*this", "f*that, b*itch this, *sshole, "sh*"t, "son of a b*tch, "bastard"etc...I could go further. lol
@@NorberisR 😂😂😂 I read your comment with your cute accent! So "coño" is what you call a mild curse word. But doesn't it mean "pussy" aswell?
This is correct. It has 2 meanings and we use it as a mild curse word. And yes it means "pussy" as well, but thats not the interpretation that people receive when we use that word. Can you imagine Dominicans calling each other or saying "pussy" all day long...lol! So if you say that to a Dominican we will not translate that you are calling us a pussy.
@@NorberisR 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You are funny! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is it true that when Dominican women move from Dominican Republic to the USA,they only date Dominican men or Caucasian dudes only?
Dancing. Eating. Laughing.
Wow that's a lot of eating for Thanksgiving...lol!
Sorry to hear about your father. Understood.

You're welcome 🤗
I date a Dominican man and a lot of your tips apply to him too. Lol. He drives me crazy 😜
Lol! That's funny!
@@NorberisR do you have any tips on dating the men?
Just be clear upfront that you will not be sending money to them for every problem they have and that you are not rich. Find a way to make that clear. You'll know then because if they aren't serious and they feel they can't get nothing out of you then they'll go away.
I love Dominican Women
The poverty in the DR is a lot just like she says. I have to agree that I noticed the same thing when I was there when it comes to the people. They may be really poor but they don't seem all that aggressive or violent like some of the poor that you will encounter in poor American neighborhoods. Most of them are outgoing and friendly. My biggest annoyance when I was in Sosua is they really hound you down about buying merchandise from them damn near every where you go. And that's even on the beach when you're trying to relax.
Yes this can be an annoyance in the tourist areas vendor pressuring to buy.
Get out the tourist areas. In Puerto Plata most people are just going about their day. Hardly anyone hounds you. Santiago is cool also.
You are so right
