The cost of an EV doesn't solve 90% of the problems with owning & relying on an EV.
Are we just not talking about the irony of a bald dude selling a product that supposedly prevents hair loss? 😄
This is why I didn’t think twice about waiting for the refresh. I took the 0.99% and have no regrets
One of us. One of us!
I am very envious of the 0.99% APR!
But I got the used EV tax credit 🏆 a few months ago on a 2017 Tesla Model S 75D in excellent condition.
I was going to wait, but why? My new Y looks great, is quite, has a great suspension, has the latest hardware. The rest is superficial. I don't need LED lights or a rear screen. I'm not 12 years old. I prefer getting it for about $16,000 cheaper. I wish he would stop referring to it as old or outdated. I think it just shows he's out of touch with people who aren't software engineers.
No brainer really. That .99% is yuge
I agree with all yall!! I have been saying this for weeks. Those that NEED to have the “refresh” Model Y are people that just need/desire the newest car. The current 2024 is the best Model Y version and every year it naturally gets a little better, but that’s the same for every car maker!
I drove an old Model 3 and then got to drive a friends “refreshed” model 3. The ONLY thing I can say that was truly different was the seats being ventilated. The car is not that much different and anyone that says otherwise is very weird. It’s like the hype blinds people from what a car is supposed to be.
Some constructive criticism here from a frequent viewer: sometimes your segments get a little redundant with you repeating information or thoughts you already mentioned previously. Makes the video feel longer than it needs to be. Not sure if you’re trying to get a runtime length goal or something but it would be a more enjoyable experience if you were more concise. Thanks for the constant uploads of great info, though!
For anyone considering going Hertz, here’s my anecdote: Got a 2022 Model 3 from Hertz in April for just under $25k with 52k miles so still within manufacturer warranty. The federal tax credit was applicable.
121 point inspection sure but they still sold me one with the taillight out (partially my own fault for poor due diligence but replacing it yourself is simple enough). Other wear included pillar trim gaps, steering wheel wear, and some light stains. None of this bothers me personally and probably not an issue for others as Hertz was selling quite a few of them daily in Texas.
Received FSD trial this month and using it daily.
Long story short…👀
e carefull, its not full self driving, but driving assist. People already died relying on it.
I would never buy a hertz Tesla. Those Uber divers trash the heck of them.
@@IpodNutz you’ll be surprised, I’m telling u
@@peepa47 No it's Full Self Driving, can't you read? Now point me to a link where the current FSD beta has killed anyone, or kick rocks. 🎬
They’re not going to release the slightly refreshed Model Y until they sell off all the UN-refreshed ones that are just sitting around. That’s how much sales have slowed this year.
Bear in mind the Model Y is under constant review. For example, the 2024 Model Y LR has more range than the 2023 Model Y LR. It is not like traditional auto where they launch a "new" car ever 8 years and a mid-life refresh every 4 years (with a slightly different headlight). I don't know about slowing sales, perhaps in some markets - but in general, ALL car makers are seeing a slowdown. Toyota has had a year on year drop in the UK of 13.5% (as has Tesla).
If an EV battery degrades and you lose some range you can still use the car. If your engine or transmission goes out your range drops to zero until you fix it.
You say ice tranny going out? Or e en Hert EV battery or motor going out, you still get the lemon law applying to that vehicle for the warranty that seller giving it to you. But an used EV at around 50k miles, you may get a lot of repair to pay.
@@tonymai1844 between me and my friends have had EV’s with well over 100,000 miles and still going strong
If an EV battery pack is lightly damaged in an accident the whole car is a write off.
@@Withnail1969 Its called insurance
The chance of your transmission and gasoline engine failing is considerably less than an electric motor or battery failing. Consumer Reports has listed Tesla as one of the least reliable cars on the road as well as one of the most expensive to fix. And when your electric vehicle, regardless of brand, gets up to 100,000 and/or 10 years old, It’s about to fail. It’s inevitable. It might still be a year or two, but, even if it has only a few thousand miles on it, it’s about to completely fail. And the real problem is, the costs associated with repairing it is going to be MORE than the actual value of the car at that time. That’s because electric vehicles depreciate enormously. And it’s the extremely expensive battery pack that’s going to FAIL. They’re going to fail by mileage AND age. So even if you don’t drive much, it’s not going to make a difference…the battery’s still going to implode on you. That’s because it’s not only charging that changes the chemical composition, it’s ALSO AGE. Batteries are only good for 10-12 years before they MUST BE REPLACED. Gasoline engines can continue to run for 300,000+ miles these days, irrespective of the age of the engine. They’re not going to suddenly die at the 10 year mark. If it’s 2 years old or 100, it makes no difference. It’s all based on how well the engine was maintained.
There are still things car owners do that FSD doesn't care about. FSD doesn't avoid road hazards, trucks dropping rocks, bumps, vegetation hanging over the road that could scratch paint, bad parts of town, curbing wheels, etc. Drivers who care about their car do all these things without much thought. Getting from one location to another without crashing is only one part of driving. Can you imagine what those robo taxi cars are going to look like after a year of use? Many rental cars are still in good condition because only humans drive them.
Great point Ryan! There’s no need for Tesla to make a sub $25k car when you can buy a USED Tesla for that price! It’s totally the same thing! Are you kidding me???!? 😂
Is this news months old? Or did I go back in time?
He’s regurgitating old news again , lol
For real
I'm switching my Model S for a Rivian R1S
I just demo drove a new Model 3 over my lunch break. The only annoying thing FSD did was to be very timid when changing lanes. It would signal but a car would come up fast in the target lane so it would stop signalling. It did this several times and I can imagine it made me look like the most timid driver ever. Normally when I signal it's not a question it's a notification.
A turn signal does not give you the right of way. Full self driving is definitely a good thing for some people.
alternatively, just because you’re in a lane doesn’t make it your lane to control. Too many people out there not letting folks merge.
@@silveravnt
Well the law says differently because if you come into my lane and hit me even with your turn signal on you are in the wrong.
I don't think $ 21,000 is cheap for a used abused electric car with stripped down interiors, degraded battery, chipped paint all over the car, you can keep it.
I bought mine for $17k for a 2022 model 3 long range. It was worth every penny. I had a 2018 civic previously which I sold for 18k and I have so much more car for my money.
It's a fine deal considering the market.. do you see what new and used vehicles are going for these days? You are probably getting at best a '22 Volt or Kona EV at about the same range.
@Speedsterawesome
That sure tells you not very many people want a used EV. If there was a demand for them they would be expensive.
@@Speedsterawesome how many miles did your car was driven when u bought?
@@susanshrestha8491 100,000 and feels brand new
This is the same logic Roger Smith, former GM CEO, used when asked if GM would make a $7000 car to compete with Chrysler's K Car. Roger's answer was a 2 year old Buick. I bought a used MS P85 that someone else took the big depreciation hit. Works for me.
I predict that there will be affordable aftermarket EV batteries some day. And just like lead acid ones they will give you money for you old one and referb it. There may even be battery upgrades available with more range or longer lasting chemistry or even solid state.
Tesla batteries are high specialized, and proprietary. Aftermarket batteries could be very difficult to source.
@@DerekDavis213 It will start with referbs but in time there will be millions of potential customers and they will figure it out.
Tesla just built their 5 millionth drive unit in Nevada. Once a large market develops people will service that market. There are already companies doing the Tesla battery and drive unit remanufacturing. They are natural candidates to do an aftermarket LiFePo or Sodium battery.
Buy a 2021 lease return or personal use car traded in right from tesla when it hits $25k in your area with 25-45k miles. I just bought a 2021 RWD with 66K miles for $18k after used rebate. Be patient and keep your eye out!
You bought it from Tesla? With $4k ev credit ?
You gotta add how many miles that "1.2 million mile Tesla" reached with each battery before replacing them. I think the first one reached over 500k before being replaced, still impressive. Many people don't keep cars past 150000 miles.
Yeah, those mil miles tesla is 99% freeway driving. Imagine how much the owner paid for tires and the headache of spending time at SC for cheaper energy price. I have to wait after midnight for 26 cents per Kw on my mod3rwd. Its painful of sleeping in my mod3 waiting for topping up the ev battery. Either way people still get robbed. Car insurance, gas or energy in KW.
@@tonymai1844 Many people have gotten 45k miles out of tires on Tesla. The tires that came with the car have 2/32 less threads so first set will need to be replaced faster. Don't recommend people getting EV if they don't have home/work charging if the only way they can do it is via SC.
Do a little research. They certainly don't average around $25k
"Tesla building a data center there to address Chinese privacy concerns" -- ROFL :D :D.
Canceling anything that would drive up the sales and stock price for a possible future robo car. Because Tesla can't do more than one thing at a time. It's Elon constrained
You kinda criticize Elon-let’s check his yearly income and check yours. Kindly saying……….
@@stevespawn1 Elon constrained sounds about right to me. Whatever Elon's yearly income, it has no direct bearing on the stock price. Kindly saying as an investor.....
Loved my Tesla but I could not stand the charging and the range so I went back to a ICE 🤷🏻♂️
As far as I have been able to establish, the UK 2024 Model Y Long Range (19-inch wheels) now offers 351 miles of WLTP range, this differs from the outgoing 2023 model, which offered 320 miles with the same specification. So even if there is not a "Juniper" coming in the near future, iteration and incremental improvements are still happening? The Model 3 "Highland" Lond Range on 18-inch wheels shows an amazing 421 miles WLTP range.
@RyanShawtech each day I check these videos hoping to see some news on the Model S getting those new updates such as ambient lighting, the new yoke with built in horn, and front bumper camera. Any new rumors on these items? Are we simply waiting for old Model S stock to clear out at this point, or is there no hope for these updates to come out in 2024? I am considering updating my 2021 Model S, maybe to a Plaid.
I think the yokes are cheaper than conventional steering wheels so they will want to put those in.
If I were to buy a 2017 Model X with full self-driving that would be a standard and I would not have to pay the monthly subscription?
For those of us who couldn’t qualify for the Model Y @ 0.99% & 2.99% rates, should we try to buy a Tesla at the end of June, or wait until December?
I bought one of those used Tesla Model 3 and took it on a trip to grand canyon. Cameras are broken... so none of the great features of automation. 53k miles for 20.6k with the EV incentives. I found out in hot climate > 95+ F, the AC heat pump gobbled up almost 2 times the power to 474-600 (according to the power chart, that is also driving < 70 for the most part at 74 F interior set and outdoor temperature of 107). Manual control of AC + Fan4 + Tint gave the car max usage 174 to 219 (according to the power chart coming from flagstaff to phoenix on a down hill). Range estimated at 245 miles on down elevation (est. from 86 to 20 % with 162 miles total). I feel that 25k teslas are not necessary but I don't mind a single seat tesla vehicle.
Hertz have 80k on the clock and been 100% charged all the time. Since batteries are big bucks not sure anyone wants this without an extended battery waranty
The batteries last minimum 300k to 500k+ miles.. if you drive average of 15k a year like most in usa.. 10 years later, 230k miles.. more likely will get to drive up to 15 years or 220k miles before any potential major issue. I have a 2014 model s with 135k miles running strong 100% supercharging can still get its original range or more if I drive efficiently. They hold very well in time relative to most other vehicles
@@jackgreenstalk777 hertz rentals are abused. Charged to 100% or run dead. They are not an EV owners care

Hertz in Inglewood, CA has Subaru EVs that have a $44,000 MSRP for $23,000. Model year 2023, 12,000 miles.
I’m waiting for model Y plaid.
It was tough to find an AWD Hertz Tesla to rent. I would go through budget to rent a Tesla but now I use Turo.
no idea why the income cap on the used EV tax credit needs to be 75k
All right, it's not here.
So please don't lie at us. Thanks.
The internet includes countries outside of the US.
Tesla continues to focus on things no-one really cares about and ignores what we want. :).
A 2007 Toyota tundra reached 1 million miles with its original engine and Toyota bought the truck back from the guy and gave him a new one. So let’s not make blanket statements off of one car
Dude there's no EV that has done that, he didn't say any vehicle he said EV🤦♂️🤦♂️

Oh there’s a million mile Tesla
@@TheBlackGuy204he said a tesla mod S, may be 2014.
That was luck I have seen too many with bad rear main bearings and the brakes just wear down too quick.
FSD phantom broke often and was very unstable, a long way to go in my opinion, but always getting better
Long-term viability of BEV isn’t good. The batteries only last about a decade or so give or take and lose 20% battery capacity in that time regardless how much they are driven. If they are driven heavily the capacity will drop even faster.
If you want a BEV lease one never buy. Tesla has some great lease rates on the Model 3 only $300/month.
Yes with the older lithium ion batteries but the LFP's last 4x as long or 500k-1M miles.
@larryc1616
Why do they only warranty them for 100k-180k then?
Ram Cummins trucks can reach over 1M miles with the original engine, also any car can reach over 1M miles if you change the engines and transmissions
The legacy automakers are basically being forced to produce cars that will compete with the other cars they sell. They need to replace models from their ICE lineup.
until it gets a new suspension and vented seats, it can not be any better.
Maybe Tesla should buy Hertz if they believe in robotaxi. Have a place for cars to charge and service or rent.
They don't actually believe in robotaxi, they just want investors to believe in it so that their stock doesn't go down.
Dang, still waiting on the Model Y refresh
The one thing that has be wondering how well licensing out FSD will go is how the Cybertruck still does not have it. I wonder what the issues are preventing their own truck from having it active right now. I understood the Semi did not have it, but the CT is more like a normal passenger vehicle.

Probably steer by wire.
Love your videos! Always informative
Tesla need to release Model Y Juniper now
People are eager to buy it
People waiting on the “refresh” are stuck in the social media hype!!
I’ve said this to everyone that’s been hyping the new Model Y!! The New Model 3 is really not that much different but if you watch some of these videos they make it sound like a completely difference vehicle. It’s incredible how much social media hypes up the “refresh.” I feel bad for the people that are new to the EV world and are being convinced to wait before buying a Model Y. They can get the best version right now for a great price!! I’m trying to reach as many people as possible.
4680 Roadster NOW!!! ⚡️🇺🇲
GAME OVER BABY!
Wouldn't the EV need to be below $25,000 to quality for the $4k tax discount.
Yes, used EV.
Keeps and current model Y aren't working
Good video as usual Ryan. I wish they added more of the Waze features more quickly. I have a CarPlay unit in my Tesla and use both the Tesla nav and Waze at the same time fairly often. As of right now (2024.12.9), the Tesla nav shows maybe 1/5 speed cameras, no police ahead, no cars stopped on shoulder or potholes or other road hazards. Once they add all of that, I won’t need Waze given the volume of Teslas in my area. But I wish they would just add CarPlay. Right now for me, other than Waze, Apple Music’s app for the Tesla is terrible for shuffling through playlists, and I end up using CarPlay for that too.
Is it bad to never charge to 100%? I’ve never gone above 92 😂
I live in Texas, so it sounds like this doesn't apply to me at all. Not even close.
2:15 many of the articles I read about the Used EV Tax Credit stated that the dealer has to be setup with the IRS in order to even qualify for the credit. I really couldn’t find out if that means just to get the credit subtracted from the invoice at time of purchase, or even to qualify when filing annual personal income taxes. Even irs . Gov or whatever was very unclear on that aspect, “Must be purchased from dealer” … to get the credit at tax time? Or just at time of purchase?
It's taken off at point of sale. You have to fill out this paperwork and sales will do the rest. Note that if you end up not qualifying when filing for the 2024 tax year, you will have to repay the $4K.
Sorry but for some reason I don’t find the “keeps” adverts on this channel compelling. 😂
Because it's not going to be a "refresh" it will be an "overhaul" lol.
I want the M3P but why price it so the only color you can get under the tax limit is fugly grey? C’mon Man!
'refresh' vs 'new model'??
Hertz deals are great but 0.99 or even 1.99 on new is better
Got a hertz Y in March and people think it’s brand new
Why do you have Keeps as your sponsor? Lol
Glad I did ❤
I bet the name change of the FSD setting is just that, a name change. I doubt there will be any behavior difference.
Hertz was charging crazy prices to rent a Tesla.
Not really, throughout last year I’ve rented Tesla from Hertz four different occasions in four different cities and was $40 per day
My friends and colleagues couldn’t believe it and I’ve showed them the rental contract and they were all surprised
NY cab drivers can use regular Tesla as taxi, government ain't gonna allow the liability of thousands of unmanned vehicles driving around the country at high speeds, judge it
The cost of an EV doesn't solve 90% of the problems with owning & relying on an EV.
The self driving hardware sucks at the moment hope it gets better.
Ive really been eyes the model X
I have saved so much on gas it’s unbelievable.
I've talked with MANY Model S owners with +400k miles on them so this is NO UNIQUE thing - it is MAINSTREAM with Tesla Model S. Also ALL Tesla since 2021 are made to last +500k miles=Good for environment, but also the wallet/owners. A tesla should outlast an ice by 3x EASY since ICE only last about 180k miles/average in the USA. So outside BEING WAY MORE expensive to fuel and maintain, you have to buy 3 ICE to cover for just ONE Tesla. Guess which one is way BETTER overall?
If GM would quit investing more into ICE development and just kept building what they have until EVs reach the kevel of volume they need, that makes sense, but both GM and Ford talk about dumping more money into ICE development. They would get a better return on their investment if they focused on EV development. Sadly, Wall Street is likely what is causing them to be so short sighted.
@kevtheobald
Because they have lost billions of dollars building EVs they have to build something that will sell.
@@OIllllO Have seen the billions Tesla lost unt8l the Model 3 ramp really got going? GM and others are going to have expensive lessons to go through. Do not try, then failure is the guaranteed result.
Elon is full of s__t when he says the Model Y is improving all the time....like same crappy suspension, sticky seats, noisy cabin, outdated styling. All the important stuff is the same old, same old. Offer deals for those willing to buy an outdated vehicle and maybe the surplus will start to lighten.
Hertz is not loosing any money on selling. They made that up on the rental fees...
Hertz doesn't warranty their EVs. They only warranty their ICE vehicles. I actually went to their Phoenix, AZ sales office and I was shocked by the Hertz sales rep's complete denial of several of the promises they have on their website. I chose to buy a used Model 3 from Wii auto sales. Wii was FAR more honest to deal with than Hertz.
Purchased from Hertz Car Sales in Phoenix and can confirm that the cars come with the 1-year 12K mile warranty, but that's it. Most of the M3's were beat up but they had lower milage 2023 ones going for well under $25K, which is insane.
@@bobbymodesign6404 Wow the salesman from the Phoenix Hertz sales flat out lied to me.
@bobbymodesign6404 Yeah the 2023 Model 3 cars are a great deal. But with the $7500 federal rebate, a 2024 Model 3 is only about $7,000 more, and it is greatly improved over the 2023 version.
I love renting electrics from Hertz, but this is too bad. Every time I rent an EV, they have been charged 100%. Yet, that is cheap!!!
Im not eager to give up my signal stalks unless the upgrade included a performance or range boost. My next EV may not be a Tesla.
Supposedly an aftermarket "stalk" will be available....
Most of the old rental fleet I’ve seen locally for sale are beat to death. Been painted and multiple body parts replaced or patched up.
I also wonder about the state of the battery on those Hertz Teslas. Otherwise, pretty good deal.
Also, curious about the tires. With ~30K mileage, it can hardly be original tires.
Sure it could. You're not doomed to 30k on tires unless it's a M3P or MYP and you're really hammering ot.
@@gordon4385 I doubt that. I had to replace tires on M3 base well before 20K. I don't drive like a grandma, but not smoking tires either.
I got 30k miles out of original tires which is supposed to be 2/32 threads thinner, 2nd set (non-EV) tires lasted 46k miles before it got noisy with 4/32 and 6/32 left. (never rotated)
@@Trust_but_Verify You must be driving very conservatively ;-)
Ryan- you are telling us to buy a used car from a rental fleet - not a smart move since the car’s driving history is not known, nor is it known how many hundreds of drivers have already abused the car, or how often it has been 100% charged. The real question the buyer needs to ask: Why is Hertz so eager to offload these?
@tonyjipechala88
Well you know they are not doing it to lose money.
Hertz sells ALL cars after two years. The narrative that Hertz is selling off Teslas because their electric car plan has failed is false.
Their process sucks. They started with just the card key, no chargers at the facility, renters must charge before returning. Little to no instruction.
But the biggest problem was that they bought at the very top of the market. Since Tesla dropped the price of their cars Hertz’s inventory lost 40% of its value.
However if they bought new Model Ys at $38K, market to current owners instead of newbies it would be highly successful.
Newbies should be required to watch a training video before renting for the first time.
Nice shirt! You going to church, bro?
Reel big fish concert 😅
Clearly, GM is phasing out themselves..
Tesla needs to sell the ole Cybertruck in China. It'd be a big hit yo, fo sho!
Your children might use FSD 😂😂😂
why so many unlikes?
the black shirt does suit him more
25k with 70k miles!! 😑😑
They go for 300k to 500k miles. At 15k a yr (slightly more then average usa) if you own the car 10 years, add 150k miles pushing it to 220k miles, aka minimum 80k more miles, or at least another 5 years.. so 15 years or 230k miles before minimum estimates (most get 500k or more on main battery and drive motor)
@@jackgreenstalk777 that is true battery and motor! But there still other component that can failed in the car ac suspension other electrical component that’s cover from the 4 year or 50k miles warranty which is bumper to bumper.. batter and motors are good! Is the other stuff that gets me.. I’ve seen a model y with 40k miles that the ball joints failed luckily for the guy that owned Tesla covered it!
@@jackgreenstalk777 _They go for 300k to 500k miles._
In theory, in an *ideal* *world* .
It’s a new concept but that’s actually really good for electric cars. As long as the battery warranty has been used
There’s no gas combustion engines or starters to replace
@@Kellastico But there is the possibility of a 20,000 USD battery pack replacement. And that is a deal-breaker for many people.
When Mary Bara said she is proud of her gas-powered cars it reminded me of when Henry Ford said he would scale back the Model T and was proud of his horse and carriage line......LOL.
GM’s CEO is playing politics. Trying not to put off conservative customers and present a more “balanced” image.
I don’t want to buy a used car. I want a new car for 25k I’m even okay with an updated price due to inflation. Like okay I get it a 25k car is unlikely in ICE cars are well so I’ll settle for a 30k one
What you said abt supercharging is a myth and it has need debunked many times over. Get your facts straight. Watch some videos on RUclips abt ppl only supercharging and keeping battery btw 20-80% and no degradation after thousands of miles.
👍
Hertz Id be worried about all the wear and tear. These cars get abused.
Tesla please redesign the front of the car it sucks to look at
I don't see hertz getting back into teslas till the 25k tesla as they now have availability of other ev makes
I wouldn’t buy no used hertz Tesla
Big no no for me
I think we can count on the Model Y refresh to be handled as ineptly as the Model 3 refresh.
Tesla could have easily had another model of car or two if Elon didn't waste all the capital on FSD. That stuff needs to be spun off into another company. Elon forces everyone at Tesla to work on his pet projects and also forces them to ignore what customers actually want.
Used prices of Tesla are way too low. Toyota lexus and other brands don't have the Tesla drop
The used car market sets the price. If the demand is not there versus supply and perceived value, then prices will drop. There's no conspiracy to make Tesla used prices low.
@@GNew6393 what that means is Tesla has a LOT less value used than other brands such as Honda Toyota Lexus etc. Just means the Brand has crap value.
@@ChicagoBob123seems you don’t understand the difference between brand value and used car values.
It all depends on the timing and demand. A friend of mine sold his 1 year old Model 3 at $7K premium to purchase price in 2022.
@@amedv average used EV is below ICE cars. EV 30% drop. ICE cars dropped 9%. That's horrible
I half way think that Tesla is going down. If share holders vote not to give Musk that pay plan he is saying he will leave. That will send Tesla spiraling way down.
Still grossly overpriced. That vehicle is only worth around 12k.
Until Nissan wakes up and pays attention to their battery management, I wouldn't touch a Nissan EV with a 50' pole. I made that mistake with their 2015 Leaf. After 4 years, my range had dropped substantially. You can't rely on air cooling unless you're in maybe San Francisco. Unless they went LFP charging to 100% isn't going to help either.
That makes sense to delay the Y refresh. The model Y refresh has a lower priority than FSD, AI and excessive inventory. There’s also the shareholder’s meeting happening on Jun 13th where if Elon’s request to get his pay agreement reinstated fail he will probably lose interest in Tesla and that could make thinks change for the worse
If he isn't interested they need to boot him out and find someone who is
Need new CEO must be able to engineer rockets That can land vertical both pay load and booster invent new telecom s launch 1000s of them, and invent chip that can make the blind see design humanoid robots to work and care for people be willing to work 16 hour day for weeks on end and have 160++ IQ. I don't think you'll have any candidate s.
@@michaelkurtz1967 Oh I'm with you. He made a contract on terms that looked impossible at the time and they agreed to it. Now they don't want to honor the contract and pay for what he achieved despite their reservations thinking he couldn't do it. If they don't pay him I will sell my two plaids and cancel my two cybertruck orders and buy a chinese EV. I will say FY to tesla as I said to all the other american car makers when they colluded with biden to screw elon.
Tesla could make a far less expensive car just by deleting most of the unnecessary high-tech standard equipment in the Model 3. All steel roof, cloth seats, just a front and rear dash cam, no "Full Self Driving" (it's not Level 5, you know) software or hardware, smaller motors, and a more regular dashboard bought from another car company.
I rented a 2018 Model 3 for a few days, and I LOVED how it drove. However, the high-tech dash and screen makes the car hard to use, unsafe at times, and needlessly expensive in some cases. Tesla's motors, batteries, BMS (Battery Management System), inverters, and charging infrastructure are the best in the world. The rest of the car is sometimes excessive bullshit!
On the news there is about 45k unsold NEW TESLA vehicles, Tesla is in big trouble therefore the new car is being cancelled they need to get rid of all of those cars price drop coming everyone 😂
You are right. On the news they showed huge parking lots full of unsold Teslas.
Three years ago, Tesla had 80 percent of the EV market in America.
Today, Tesla has about *50* *percent* of the EV market in America. Not good.
@@DerekDavis213 I sold both of my Teslas and just waiting for my Rivian and we got an EV6 instead, it’s sad but Tesla is not the same it used to same for Elon.
