    It seems so clear from the comfort of a chair how you could have won that, but at a 195 BPM my brain would have trouble keeping me on the bike.

      Now imagine averaging 190-200 BPM for a 5,000ft climb over 18 miles.
      I wanted to die.

      Back in the day when I raced, I was able to hit 210 bpm. Always had the genetics for freaking high pulse. Usually only been able to max out on super warm days though

    Found your channel a few weeks back, raced a lot through the years, until one evening I was riding to a Crit and got side swipped by a 4x4, that was 12 years ago.....injuries, kids and excuses got in the way of me getting back into it......just wanted to say your channel has given me the push I needed, been out on the bike almost every day and am loving it.....although the butts a bit sore and the old team lycra doesn't fit like it used to 😉 thanks from the UK

    For the sprint, he should also kept on the left because now Jr is sprinting out of draft since wind is coming from the right. But very nice series so far Jef & Logan, keep it up!

    I definitely would have ridden in the top five riders and surfed wheels near the front. The turns would have been smoother and faster and the race would have been easier overall.

    I feel like Logan hasn't ridden group rides, so he's not comfortable yet riding tight in the pack. More practice - especially at speed - will probably make a huge difference. Find a group ride and get comfy being elbow to elbow!

    • @wbhandy
      @wbhandy 3 года назад

      I was thinking the same thing. So much of his training has been indoors. He needs more practice in tight packs... but then again practice crits are a great way to get it!

    10:10 He's actually in a crosswind at the time so the rider to his right is breaking the wind for him, as well as jeff says he should be doing 100-200 watts and as he says that he starts doing 100-200 watts.
    Kind've a bad line to take when all that happens but still.

    Most important thing here: logan is winning races on an alloy bike with shallow alloy wheels and rim brakes. The rider wins. Not the bike. The guy on the dogma f12 is still slower.

    What will be the sustainable lead duration/distance from each rider on rotation? Assuming that there is a lead group of 6 (or maybe lesser) with similar skillset in P1/2.
