Always a pleasure to watch the Master in his workshop from the safety of my couch. My favorite was the move at 11:20. The detailed explanation of all the things that go thru your head (instead of just sending it!) and the little smile after when you you said "I am sure that Wade Simmons would be proud". We all have our mentors/heroes. Thank you for being one of mine!
Bummer that Yoann Barelli was injured...but I love watching Remy! I enjoy when you explain everything. I learn so much. Great to hear your thoughts and decisions to avoid some features based on the conditions.
Thank you Remy for your lessons. Always a pleasure to watch your line choices and your skill techniques. I try to focus on your tips while I'm riding and I feel definitely more confident. REALLY thankful for showing us!
Remy after hitting his head against a tree at full speed - "From now on, I will be wearing my full face when riding trails with a lot of exposure..." Also Remy:
I get to ride a lot of cool gnarly stuff locally, and every once in a while I think let's check out squamish, It's not that far and I bet the trails more managable than they look...Then I see a video of Remy riding up there and I think nah im good. These features look terrifying, props for keeping it between the mayo and mustard!!
Remy! I’ve been watching for a while now your videos are amazing! You really have a great way of breaking down the features and how your going to ride them normally i don’t comment on RUclips but I felt like I needed to say thanks 🤘🏾
Wow dude I love what you do I would love to have that bike. All I got is a Trek Marlin 5 but I'm going to use it to get my feet wet and start saving up cuz I'd love to do what you do man
I would have flipped 10 times 😂 Remy, Yoann, Steve and Peter (Jamison) definitely are some of my favorite riders...but I still don't get why most of the time they don't wear full face and gloves...seeing how Yoann smacked his head I think a full gives you that extra protection...in addition his hand got F Ed up...
What's you setup, that you take on a trail? I see a backpack with water skin, but what else? I feel like I take too much. I have a backpack + saddle sachet. Sachet: multitool, compact air pump, patch kit and some cloth Backpack: first aid kit, sports camera + mounts + spare battery I also have watter bottle mounted on the fram, but I am actually considering a water skin also (my backpach is skin-ready for up to 2L) A side note - I feel like I know this rock in the background (0:46) from ChainSmoke2 or NWD
Wade Simmons SHOULD be proud! He was an early pioneer of this style of riding. We all are better riders because of him. Too bad he's crusty about today's crop just trying to get youtube views on features that have been previously ridden.
Skills, skills, skills. 🔥 You have so much control - it's very impressive and also inspiring! I unfortunately didn't ride much within the last 3 years due to ongoing mental problems. Now I'm finally doing better and I ride my bike almost every day to have fun, regain my old skills and learn some new ones as well. Definitely improved a lot this season. MTBing is just an awesome sport and you're the best ambassador for it! Ride on
My thoughts exactly. In the vid where he wadded it up on a tree that was clipped, he even said he'd be going full face more. And that we should be calling him out on it. Today's enduro based full face helmets are so much better for air flow, lightness and line of sight that I'm not sure why more aren't switching to using them for riding.
@@remymetailler Absolutely! I think it's changed a lot since its single-black origins, but Squamish trail ratings are also a bit nutty compared to anywhere else. See you out there!

Such fun features. So fortunate to have this in the backyard

oops
Thanks for the mini tour! The vibes will be so high next year.
Can't wait!
You're definetely from another planet man! So good!
Love your choice of “spicy” lines… being “on” the bike with you coming straight down rock walls makes my knees weak! Thx for sharing 👍❤️🇨🇦

Good to see him skips so gnarly features. He could probably ride the ones I skip no hands, but at least it makes me feel better.
My favourite tip was 3:21 'to make sure the wheels stay in contact with the ground' 😂

such awesome precision , thanks for keeping gnar alive !!!!

Thanks for the free classes.
Glad you like them!
Yay tour de Remy
That literally would be so sick

Thanks for the educational content!
8:25 it's definitely not a trail 😅
Mad!
If anyone deserves a red bull helmet it's this man. Remy. U are fuckin nuts 🔥
I’m upset my bike can’t do these things. 😂
Sick video as always. Remy never disappoints.
Thank you!
Man , atleast get a full face for those drops. Holy hell !!
Man, tour de gnar is just yours! 🔥
Very well explained and always, sic riding Remy 🤟😉
Nice change up. We all know you got next level skills but a little coaching lesson is refreshing 👌
Thanks

The way Remy does this with a half shell helmet just amazes me
What a beautiful bike. 💫
11:00 should be a feature of Tour de Gnar. Would love to see the different approaches 😊
Remy would be honored 🎖 to have you as my coach you rock the mountain trails
Super sketchy is a good summary of all those features. 😂
all ways a good day when you watch a video of remys

Class riding and tips. That turn in the air to the left off that rock roll is unreal.
Where is the vest and full face helmet?
do you use a e-mtb or a normal mtb?

Im pretty sure your rear brake rotor is on backwards 😅
It is ahaha
It cools down more quickly this way :))))
My rear tires on backwards, not worth changing
The machine!
Is it true you can deadlift 215kg?
I did lift 210kg once. I used to deadlift 190kg regularly but now would not attempt this much.

It was very hot and I stayed in my comfort zone.
This is awkward… am about to post a video on my channel, with me doing all of the same features 😂😂😂😂
Kinda beating a dead horse with the Wade stuff no?
Just a joke
Wade was riding all of this on his tricycle when he was in diapers. The rest of us are just bumbling our way out there
got here early lol

Entrails is technically single black, not double. Only in Squamish! 🤷♂🎺📉
