They need to use that waxy, cutting board HDPE material as a kind of gasket for the interior frame to slide against. Just outfit the inside of the case with it and get the tolerances right, and it'd glide like butter every time.
Give PIO motherboards a shot. I saw a Zillion B610 for 73 bucks. It runs off of 19 volts and can even power an efficient GPU like a 4060 Low Profile. I chose a 12500T processor because it's a sweet spot (I found one for 85 dollars too). Just a decent riser cable can be 40, more half the cost of the reasonable motherboard. And that's assuming it works, never mind how bulky and complicated it makes the build. I only mention because you could get a nice system in about half the size and maybe 1/3 the price. I personally went with a 240watt Alienware GaN brick and put my own connector on it. There was room in a 2L case to fit everything inside, including the power.
Great review as usual - I guess the price comes from an aluminium block being drilled to this outer shell. It's just one piece on the outside as you said.
Thats crazy! But yeah ncase here I come Really didn't expect that cooler to keep the temps in check Needs like, rubber wheels or something on those 4 end corners Could you imagine sliding your build into it ... and the case scratches up your gpu or bends the cpu cooler fins I was holding my breath as you slid it in and out (PAUSE!) Create a drawer type caddy inside to pull the whole inner parts out, work and istall stuff including cable and so on and just push them back in the case. Unfortunately I don´t care about those mini ITX or whatever they are called builds. Just get a larger cheap big case and your temps will be great as well and oh way less dust and noise. But each to it´s own. Or you can just 3D print a simlar case and then spray paint it. The idea is neath though.

Similar to Jonsbo VR3, although the Jonsbo is a vertical setup. Could be nice to have a review about it. Great video as always Batman.
Wait, do you need to disassemble the entire thing, mobo included.. just to swap GPU?
Great review as usual - I guess the price comes from an aluminium block being drilled to this outer shell. It's just one piece on the outside as you said.
pretty much as cool as formd T1 (also my current), considering this as my next case
Thats crazy!
But yeah ncase here I come
Really didn't expect that cooler to keep the temps in check
Needs like, rubber wheels or something on those 4 end corners
Could you imagine sliding your build into it ... and the case scratches up your gpu or bends the cpu cooler fins I was holding my breath as you slid it in and out (PAUSE!)
Sort of reminds me of a test bench frame, but then they made a case that slides over it
I remember old retro pc cases used to have 1 piece panel that slides out to open.

Huh cool idea, I could DIY one of those easily. Lase cut AL sheet metal and connect them underneith in the middle. Create a drawer type caddy inside to pull the whole inner parts out, work and istall stuff including cable and so on and just push them back in the case. Unfortunately I don´t care about those mini ITX or whatever they are called builds. Just get a larger cheap big case and your temps will be great as well and oh way less dust and noise. But each to it´s own. Or you can just 3D print a simlar case and then spray paint it.
The idea is neath though.
Its made from a folded sheet. You can tel by the difference in thickness on the corners. ALso its cheaper to CNC cut the forms on a plane surface and then fold it.
I was scrolling and saw 1/4 of the thumbnail, and immediately fkng knew it was your video lol😭😂😂, you've conditioned us too hard man
That is one GOOD looking case. Wow.
