What makes you pick it up over the FormD T1? I know they are different sizes and serve different purposes, but if you could only pick one. I can't decide on my next case and need all the insight I can get. Right now, I'm deciding between the Form T1, M2, and the NanoQ S/R.

Although I don't have personal experience with the V2.5, the general consensus on the SFF Discord suggest V2.5's build quality is inferior. Due to W360's questionable handling of the breakup and the reportedly better build quality I'd personally recommend the V2.1

Recently completed a build with Terra Fractal (Jade color), and absolutely love it. It's a good center piece for me and my gf's office/game room and it really catches the eye very well. Love that case, and will keep as a starting point for all upgrades in the future!
I also really like the Meshroom, used it with my spare parts and put in a full ATX and 3070 ti with a radiator. I like it so much more than my main PC which is in a Lian Li O11 Air
I recommend the ssupd meshroom D instead of the S. You can get away with a noctua cooler, with 4 slim 120 fans. Found the horizontal D to have better thermals than the Vertical S.
nanoq is killin it. The first moment i saw it, i said to myself that the ultimate sff should be it. Phenomenal aesthetics with eye catchy colors and shade, build quality to attention to detail for components just top notch.
4:02 Ok so the FormD T1 V1 was the first to market with an adjustable center spine with 2 fixed positions (2 slot vs 3 slot GPU). For *freely* adjustable spine, technically the Jimu D+ V2 was first to market (it should be noted the D+ V1 was a FormD T1 V1 clone), though W360 had clearly also been working with a freely adjustable spine in the T1 V2 before the Jimu D+ V2 hit the market.
I've received the final version of the NANOQ R case from THOR ZONE today and from first impressions it is a really high quality and sturdy case. Planning to build on it tomorrow.
Although it's on the larger side of SFF, this case is not expensive to build on since you don't have to spend on riser cable and sfx PSU* (unless you use a large GPU). The only itx tax is the itx motherboard.
They were heavily discounted in Canada after the sanction news in the US broke out, and there were some insane deals on deepcool stuffs like 50-60% off or something on that case. Was a banger value.
Dan A4H20, hated building in that thing. Hard time getting the radiator pipes past the PSU/RAM. New favorite is the Velka 5 rev 3. 4070 super plus 5800x3d. EZ mode build
I love the ncore 100 max after replacing the stock fans (incl psu fan). Upgradability’s there, esp w/ 4 slot GPU support & personally prefer the vertical design for a smaller footprint.
can just agree, got one myself i had a problem with the psu fan always spinning, had to rma it, but other than that, i freaking love it. i got mine for 320€ that's tax incl.
I switched from an mATX to an ITX build. I got the CH160 because I could only afford to change out the case and the motherboard if I had some extra cash I would get a smaller case.
Can you do a video about noise levels and undervolting settings among the best cases? I am anxious to downsize do to added heat and noise or losing performance by undervolting to keep temps in check.
I wish I had the know how on fitting my 4080 into a small form factor case, I would much prefer a form factor but im guessing the cooling won't be as good but im not sure
nr200, i managed to get 2x 240mm radiators in that case with 3d printing and i quite liked that case, cable managment could be better in that case in my opinion
Just got my Thorzone NANOQ S in the mail. Despite how beautiful and well made it is, I just cannot tear apart my eWhite FormD T1. It’s so highly recommended for a reason.
I really like the Ncase m2 from what I've seen. It's slightly larger than the T1 and the Terra, which allows for easier configuration and larger CPU coolers; while still remaining very small.
Ahh the FORMD looks amazing :O my current system is on a machined aluminium testbench and I love the aesthetic everything is so precise and chamfered so when I build my next machine it would match the aesthetic! Only thing is the top panel looks really boring with otholinear ventilation holes, like if everything is being CNC'd just program offset patters and maybe use slightly different drill sizes in various passes and get like a really interesting organic but perfectly tesselating hole pattern would up the visual appear a notch or two
Currently still rocking my q58, but as soon as fractal comes with a bigger Terra that supports a 280mm rad, I'm switching to that. Love the design of the terra, just wish it was a little bit taller.
Just now seeing this video. But to answer the question at 3:54, GEEEK is another SFF case company to have an adjustable center piece. Their GEEEK G1 does this exceptionally and is a beautiful case for $129 with a 3.0 riser and $149 with a 4.0 riser

For me, the formD t1 is my favorite case to build in. The possibilities of parts, aesthetics and modulability are impressive for a sub 10L case. I was looking forward to louqe’s new ghost R1, but i was disappointed when i saw machines & more pre-production review of it.
hot take here, i'd love a wider t1 to accomodate the 3 slot mode and good cpu coolers at the same time (say, 70mm or so, enough for black ridge with a 15mm fan on top). It would be a bit larger but make complete sense, and people would buy it if they wanna only air cool imo.

I'm really interrested in a really small case and those two 4-ish litre cases almost fit the bill ... just except for one thing: they have super-lacking front IO and I would like one USB-A + one USB-C and a headphone jack. *Then* I'd be happy.
nr200p max v2 is good but expensive , got it at 500 usd , it come preinstalled with a 280 m aio , 850 atx3 cooler master psu and the pcie gen4 riser cable ( even tho mine says gen5 somehow )
I tried the ATX build in the SSUPD Meshroom S and it was a nightmare. Had a really hard time finding the right length GPU riser cable, then I realized they didn’t include the standoffs needed for my height of GPU, and then I learned my GPU was actually too wide. Would not recommend.
Anyone can awnser me if worth to get a NR200p MAX or the NR200p MAX V2. there's like a 40 euro difference between the 2 but I only see that the most significant addition is the ATX 3.0 psu
This is a great video, as always. I love this channel, and I'm always excited to see new videos. The original NR200 is my personal favourite. I prefer air cooling, and the original NR200 can accommodate a big enough air cooler for most current CPUs and can accommodate large GPUs. I have been using the NR200 for a while. I also have the original FormD T1 reference version. I don't think that version is available anymore, but it's a great case. It can accommodate quite large air coolers like the Noctua C14S, which is more than large enough for most modern AMD CPUs, and it can easily house a decent GPU like an FE 4070. I can't believe the T1 reference isn't available anymore. With modern low-power CPUs, it is the best solution for SFF, in my opinion. Especially with the newer and even more power-efficient AMD 9000 series CPUs. Intel? Don't even go there ;)
The s400 is great but theres so much lost potentional in that case. If the t1 was a bit longer to accommodate 336mm gpus then the t1 would be hands down the best sff case
Yes, I have it. I originally used it in a ch160 budget build. But I decided not to release the video when DeepCool was sanctioned. Will be using it in another build soon.

So far, I'm loving my Shiny Snake/KXRORS G200. It's basically the OG CH160 but at a size closer to the NCase M1. The only problems I have with it are the lacking front I/O options (I want a 2nd USB-A port) and the limited compatibility with GPUs now and in the future.

I just want to point one thingtoSFF community and maybe, hopefully, manufacturers will get it too. No matter how clean we want it, dont take our front (or near front, top, side etc) IO, weneed those handy usb-c (and A for a few more years Iguess) ports near us. I often use external ssds or thumbdrives for transfering files to a friend, or charging my phone eventually etc. and reaching the back of it daily, routinely, kinda kills the vibe.
I had it and I sold cause my PCH and memory were hot too much for me without any cooling. I had 240 AIO on top. This case would be much better with ability to install 2x 120mm coolers to the bottom.
I have fit full ATX mobo, 4090 and 10G NIC card in Meshroom S. I've used second 4x riser cable and routed it alongside main one for the GPU. Fixed the 2nd riser slot to the first one using extra standoff that came with the case.

My new favorite is the Dan A3 mATX. It’s not technically SFF, but it’s so easy to build in and has massive radiator support. I’m actually able to properly cool a Core i9-14900K in this case
can you tried to find a case that use that 4060 LP GPU with a case that more vertical like Fractal Ridge but the width only 60mm so it fit in the bagpack but also you can put other thing like book in the bagpack. GemCase C9 and the 5-liter mini A24-V5 case both are very good and easy to put in bagpack but still a little to thick on the width hoped you can make a video about a small width case but still able to put a 4060 LP
FormD T1 / Dan C4 SFX owner here. Both great cases overall with the Dan C4 taking the cherry. Such an enjoyable and straightforward case to work on.

@Zalionn well portability. T1 is good for that. M2 if you want water cooling and micro atx etc.

Have the V2.1 and I can not complain. I travel a lot and especially with the travel kit this case is a tank to travel with (in a good way).

NR200P Max ❤️ forever my favorite case. Takes a lot of the work out of building and picking parts. Sure the PSU isn't the best, but it's convenient.

At this point, go for an Ncase M2. It can fit 280mm radiators, and GPUs as big as the 4090 STRIX.

The open case the XPROTO ATX Case (17Liters) have now is perfect for me. I have it almost for 2 years and I won’t be switching cases anytime soon

Yes, Formd T1 v1 was the first to do adjustable centers, which Fractal copied in Terra

The best is the thorzone mjolnor by far, I’ve tried xtia, ghost s1, formd t1 and the new nano q and the mjolnir is still better.

There is no 4070 card could be put into Velka 3. The highest gpu you can put in is 4060ti. If you need 4070, velka 5 or velka7 can do.

None of them could make me to rebuild in a new case. I stay with the Iqunix ZX1 Waterversion! But nice to see the other ones =)

Agree. My top 3 is A4, T1, and M1.The rest are either too big or can't fit a big GPU.
I had it and I sold cause my PCH and memory were hot too much for me without any cooling. I had 240 AIO on top. This case would be much better with ability to install 2x 120mm coolers to the bottom.

I have fit full ATX mobo, 4090 and 10G NIC card in Meshroom S. I've used second 4x riser cable and routed it alongside main one for the GPU. Fixed the 2nd riser slot to the first one using extra standoff that came with the case.

My new favorite is the Dan A3 mATX. It’s not technically SFF, but it’s so easy to build in and has massive radiator support. I’m actually able to properly cool a Core i9-14900K in this case

can you tried to find a case that use that 4060 LP GPU with a case that more vertical like Fractal Ridge but the width only 60mm so it fit in the bagpack but also you can put other thing like book in the bagpack. GemCase C9 and the 5-liter mini A24-V5 case both are very good and easy to put in bagpack but still a little to thick on the width hoped you can make a video about a small width case but still able to put a 4060 LP
