I feel good for him. He genuinely knows how to deal with all those components. It's just that those components are out of his reach that he didn't know they exist in his build.
🤣Very well said
Well put. I every once in a while will crack open my PC and just study the inside. I've learned so much from that, and I hope that Tucker was able to use this opportunity as a learning experience about computers. Keep it up man!

I keep watching these videos, I love them so much! I think it’s really fun watching people build PC’s, especially for the first time. I’ve never built one before, and if it suddenly happened I don’t think I’d be super ready, but I’ve been learning a bit and I hope one day I’ll be able to!
Get 'em started young! lol I got my nephew hooked on Skyrim a few years ago when he was 8 and he bought an X1 a few weeks later with money he saved up. Now that he's 13 I'm planning on introducing him to the hardware side of things. Recently built a new PC so I'm gonna do a teardown and rebuild of my old one with him so he can experience that and hopefully connect with him over tech some more. My uncle used to build his own PCs but he stopped doing that in the mid 2000s and then switched to PS4 and PS5 since they could use M/Kb input more easily. So he knows tech to a good degree but he's not up on current stuff at all for PCs, mainly just phone and console hardware.
"you are just a small young boy" he says to the child that's taller than him

"It's running an i5-8400 and a 1050 ti." THAT'S NOT OLD. But it is a dell, so it feels older than it is.
My gaming laptop has an i5 6300HQ and a 960M, and even to this day it’s a trooper for the kinds of games I play.

Literally *any* GPU and CPU chips they could possibly put inside will be so severely hampered by bad cooling and weak VRMs that they'll all perform just as poor at the end

Finally, a kid that knows what he's doing. Probably the first ROGR that I've seen where Linus isn't losing his shit.

I like this kid. He's an embedded engineer at heart, just like me! He'll be going places when he's older. He might not be able to call himself that professionally yet, but he already is one on the inside. I was just like that. It's now my degree and my job and I love it.

Great Video! Thanks to the whole LTT Team for creating so great content!
Linus: "You want me to show you broken?!"
Crew: "Oh, god. Hide the expensive things!"
Viewers: "Uhhh, he already flung the CPU on the floor."
Cutest rig reboot ever.
Sounds creepy I promise its not.
What's funny its obvious he knows his stuff but just the basics of building he doesn't get because he hasn't had the chance to interact with modern hardware.
The cutest part is how much of a dad Linus is acting like. He can't resist the dad jokes and jibes.
That’s how I felt. I have been running off of ivy bridge since 2013. Now there’s pcie gen 4/5, nvme drives, ddr4/5, gpu’s are 4x the price I last paid (which was in 2020 for an rx 580). It’s all easily understandable but it was more “work” for me to look up what to go with. I eventually said screw it and just got the most I could afford with alder lake. I’m glad I did since my soon to be server, ivy bridge rig just kicked the bucket like a week after I built my new rig. Guess I’ll just have to build a nas server now. Not too bad I guess lol.
@Vengeful that would have been less creepy yes
@@FritoLays1236 don't let them take cute from us. It's our word!
@Michael Skinner Yep, me and some friends used to collect old PC hardware at my towns garbage collecting facility back when I was a teen.
We learned a lot from it, without wasting money on expensive new equipment. I'm now an embedded engineer and of my other friends is a SysAdmin...
It was technically not allowed to take stuff from the garbage collecting facility, which made it only more exciting to us. One person was our lookout, while the others where scavenging parts... We occasionally had to flee when an employee noticed us. We trying to cycle away on our bicycles without falling, while holding a desktop in our arms...
One of the employees had a big walrus mustache, he followed us for two blocks before giving up... The memories :-) ...
It's sad that they installed cameras now, it only blocks young people from tinkering...
This kid is really intelligent and definitely 100% deserved this.
I love the dad energy that linus has. He's geniuently a good guy.
This is my favorite person they've upgraded for sure and he seems like he will make very good use of it!
Best one so far, this kid actually has an interest in things. I guess its time to start demanding he get a job at LTT.
Just like Madison!
Tucker was super nervous and he still managed to crack wise with Linus and crew. That's the sign of talent right there.
I second all the folks calling for him to be an intern with LMG. Tech isn't just about gaming or data science; it's about all industries, and the maker community really needs more representation.
Plus, if he really wants to go deep into making and 3D modeling, LMG has lots of 3D printers of various materials as well as machining tools. So much potential for greatness and carnage all wrapped up into one workspace.
i have a feeling this pc will be put to good use on some crazy cool projects. enjoy tucker.
i love that LONGBOI is now official for every ROG rig reboot
thanks Madison!
He seems like a good kid, and definitely gifted in terms of tinkering. Keep at it Tucker ^-^
Yeah. I like this kid, he reminds me a lot of myself. I used to be a tinkerer who didn't really know what he was doing, but I was already an embedded engineer at heart. This kid is just like that. It's now my degree and my job and I wouldn't have it any other way. Being creative with tech is just the best thing in life.
I'm so glad this kid got his rig. We have a young Mark Rober at making.
What a nice kid. Finally someone who really deserves one of these reboots

It was crap (no offense) because it crashed with simple tasks such as using Microsoft Word. I’m glad he got this new rig, he truly deserved it.
@@Just-View this can be fixed with some research it may be bad ram xmp not working properly, bios config or motherboard even processor, gpu,bad hdd/ssd or psu.
his monitor could also be sending some shit on the gpu and it acting crazy, isaw this once, where a monitor was making a pc to freeze randomly changing for another one fixed the problem, it may be souved by fixing the board on the monitor or changing it but it was a bad monitor anyway it was just better to buy a new one anyway.
