Good evening, and welcome to my 'Throwback Review' of the Mk2 SEAT Leon Cupra R. Not content with the standard Cupra, the R adds 25hp and 50Nmm meaning it offered 265hp along with 350Nm. Power is still fed to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox but as the R uses the facelifted platform it gains XDS. Though, it's not a proper LSD it's a system that's able to brake the inside wheel when cornering to help with traction and also to combat understeer. 0-62 falls down to 6.2 seconds, and the top speed is 155mph. The 0-62 isn't quite as fast as the Mk2 Focus RS, which makes even more surprising that the Cupra R was actually more money to buy than the Fast Ford, although the same cannot be said for the used market. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video!
I've just bought a 2011 Cupra R here in Finland, and I can say that the clutch pedal on the LHD car is not impeding foot placement. I can rest my foot beside the clutch pedal or on the footplate. I don't have the beautiful leather seats or double middle exhaust, which I really wish mine had.
Different markets often have different specifications/trim levels. Having said that, I work with someone who has a Cupra R, which I drove earlier in the year and his clutch pedal position was the same as my Cupra, which I found odd. Thanks for watching, apologies for the delayed response.

That was a great review. I still like the card I think I could live with the harshness of the suspension
