  • I put the PenTips Magnetic Matte Screenprotector to the test against my old favorite, the Tech Armor Non-Glare Matte Finish cover, on the iPad Pro.
I aim to answer a burning question: Which feels more like drawing on natural paper or smooth Bristol board? Can the PenTips screenprotector unseat my long-time favorite?
My honest insights, based on being a seasoned artist who has drawn professionally on the iPad Pro for thousands of hours.

Thank you very much for the 2 reviews. It reminds me I used to have a magnetic Moshi iVisor protection I liked a lot on my previous iPad. I tried but didn't like Paper-like. Now I am using the ELECOM smooth, I am quite happy with it. I feel like trying this one now ;-)... I have to watch the other more recent review first ;-)

Helpful video! Can’t wait to see the update. I’m just about to dive into digital art for the first time with an iPad Pro and can’t decide what screen protector to go with.

Great review! Started with your pen tips fiber video and that led me here. It’s refreshing to hear from someone who isn’t just trying to sell me something. Really excited to see if you stick with it cause I have been looking at this magnetic cover for some time. My current matte protector is wearing out and it’s about time to look for what is next.

I’ve been looking to get this. My one question is… how long will it last? I usually keep my matte screen protectors on till they need to be replaced. Maybe I’ll try it out

Good review! Did you use the standard Apple Pencil tips for this test? Or did you buy the Pentips Ink'n Paper combo with accompanying pentips?

I tried both actually. There's a review for the new tips on the site too. Upcoming update on using this for 3 months and how it worked out coming up!

Thanks. But what I really meant to ask is whether you used the standard Apple Pencil tip for this test?

I did use the standard apple pencil tip - but check out my update on this over at ruclips.net/video/eWw3-FMFJNw/видео.html - It wore my tip down pretty bad

Hi, thank you for the straightforward video! I was wondering if you have posted an update yet by chance. How has it held up? I'm a new digital artist and am in the market for a good screen protector. Thanks!
