  • Whaddupp, so threw in the shift stop to pair with the brass shifter bushing and as of now, I really enjoy the combo especially coming from everything being stock. It's definitely a crisper feel now, though I'm probably going to readjust it to take away a bit more wobble but definitely would reccomend! Hope you guys enjoyed! I'll throw in the Boomba SSA most likely Friday, looking forward to how everything feels together!

Nice legacy dude! I'm diggin' the wing and the seats. What seats are those? Looking for a decent set of buckets for my 3.6R

Thanks man appreciate it! They're Braum Racing Elite series, pretty nice for the price range they're in, held up pretty well, pretty sure I have over 10k on them now so i'll be making an update about them soonish haha

It’s always going to walk up no matter what you do, this is bad because when you need to do a quick downshift to second it can slide over and mess with the gear change. I ended up adjusting it where it was basically not a factor. Only way to prevent it from walking up you probably need to use a piece just like the reverse blocking plate on the opposite side. Because by moving that closer, it eliminates movement but also doesn’t allow the reverse lock to move up.

Yeah I've been tweaking it alot and have finally settled on a setting I like. I moved everything a bit close while having 2nd out just a tiny bit compared to 1st and it feels much better. Reduced alot more of the side to side slop and doesn't hit the lock out as much as before atleast. Plus I've gotten used to not pulling it all the way left for a 2nd downshift so its mainly a nonfactor as of now. I'll probably readjust it again when I throw on the boomba short shift adapter

Ouch! that's a long throw, are you planning on getting the STI short throw shifter at all? Makes a huge difference IMO..

Yeah, honestly pretty used to it so its no biggy, but wasnt planning on getting the sti sts, I am sitting on a boomba short shift adapter which will decrease the throws a good amount though. I tried installing it last week and I couldnt get this stupid pin out of the stock shift assembly so rage quit and put it back together for now haha
