I bought two Sig Romeo red dots (great sale price) for a rifle & PCC. Still looking for one for a pistol. I need to bring in the mounting plate to see which brands fit. I’m experimenting as well to see if I like using it. There are so many options out there. Thanks for sharing your ideas and giving more suggestions. One “toy” I’ll probably never buy is night vision goggles or a sight. Crazy expensive, but it would be fun to see what’s out in the woods at night.
@@Biscuit7102 the quick connect may be the ticket, but I’m still doing some figuring.. that particular QD rail is pretty cheap- it is gritty and need a lot of tension to lock securely. I ordered a different one to try as well

They’re not the best design, but every one I’ve shot eats everything and cycles everything, even steel cased… so a gun that shoots when needed isn’t the worst thing you can have…
@@crankygunreviews I can come off snide.. the sub 2k is innovative, but the plastic is not reliable, in extremes ( cold brittle, hot softened up).. takes Glock mags so a plus.. fun range toy
Yea I've had my gen 2 for several years now & while I admit it's not my goto or wtshtf gun but that being said, it's a TON of fun to shoot + cleaning & storage are a breeze!

Yeah night vision is too rich for my blood too
The only thing better then a Cranky Gun Reviews video is aaaaaaaaa, vintage snowmobile movie featuring a 1970 Ski Daddler.
🤦🏻♂️ lol, there’s no snow
@crankygunreviews Well that is true, the Ski Daddler can be ridden on many different surfaces.
I bought a Chinese special red dot on a whim. It didn’t fit, but my cat enjoys it, so it wasn’t a total loss.
Yeah they’re not always the greatest.
@@crankygunreviews You did much better than I did. I like the quick disconnect. Great options for your foldy-boi.
