I had a broken thermostat on a mk 4 xr3i and didn't have a manual didn't realize they were that easy to change ,you could only drive it for few miles before overheated and just stopped so I kind of fix there's a plug on drivers side over the arch to have the fan working all the time it's for when Ur towing a caravan and it didn't overheat again while I had it , I think I paid 50 quid for it because of the thermostat I remember seeing the person I bought it off and she looked anoyed
