- I saw an episode of Gordon Ramsey cooking fish the other day by slicing the fish skin and seasoning it and placed the cook fish on a bead of peas, onions and bacon. So i thought we would head out and catch and cook some brook trout the way i saw Gordon Ramsey do it.

Delish!!!!! Small tip: dry the fish skin first, and then rub oil on both sides before putting into a hot pan. ~1.5 mins on skin side first, then flip. Fish skin will be super crispy, without tearing it up!

This is one of my favorite videos because when you guys are sitting down eating it's the most relaxed an interesting eating and relaxed eating catch and cook that you guys have done and I really enjoy that you guys are just enjoying yourselves and relaxing you don't have too much going on it's just showing you guys eating and talking and having fun and I love that thank you both for everything you guys do and your cameramen and thank you all for everything.

Brookies were my favorite fish to eat growing up. We'd catch them in the irrigation ditches (streams) in central Wisconsin. My stepdad used to cut the heads and tails off, then bread them and pan fry. Once cooked we'd always grab the spine up where the head was and like a zipper pull all of the bones out.

Not that I didn’t enjoy Zach’s filming, but getting cuts of lots of different interesting angles, camera movements, variety of shot styles is so fun to watch. It’s also easier to play with Depth of field, exposure, framing, rack focus, etc. when not filming yourself. Great mix of clips! Still feels Fowler, just with some flavor!

Love your vids! I have a cabin in the western Adirondacks of NY, I plan on taking more vids while im up there. Most of the adventures im on i forget to pull out the cam, would be sick if you was every over that far and hit up one of the lakes! Never been fishing up there. But your making me want to lol. One day i plan on making a vid doing a hunt n fish/ hike across, if you ever want to do it ill try and keep up lol.
