I cannot listen to Glen Campbell without thinking of my dear departed mom. She played his records over and over! I had the privilege of interviewing him for my paper in California in 1985! He was a genuinely nice guy. Bearded at the time too!
My favorite Glen Campbell song was Galveston. He made me feel like I could see what he was singing about. That song playing from the trees was awesome! Thanks for taking us here! Really enjoyed it! Hope you have a great week and God bless!
Thanks Jason! Loved Glen Campbell Witchita Lineman, rhinestone cowboy and many, many others. It's a shame we have lost so many of the older Country Music Artists. ❤❤❤
You forgot to mention Glenn Campbell's album "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", became the FIRST Country album to win the Grammy for Album of the Year in 1968. Only 4 country albums have managed to win the top honor, but Glenn was the first to do it.
Never to be forgotten this fellow singer. Southern Nights was a hit in Brazil in 1977 when I was serving the army and I would enjoy listening to Glen alogsided with Al Stewart's Year Of The Cat. Sweet memories. RIP Glen.
Hi Jason!!😊 I loved Glen Campbell. Thank you for taking us along. You always do an excellent job and I enjoy how you go into the history of the graves and the deep dives about the cemeteries. 🕊️❤️🙏 Like a Rhinestone Cowboy is my favorite song.
I GREW UP LISTENING TO GLEN CAMPBELL! RHINESTONE COWBOY AND WICHITA LINEMAN WERE MY FAVORITES SONGS, ESPECIALLY RHINESTONE COWBOY. SOUTHERN NIGHTS WAS MY FAVORITE KICKBACK, PARLAY SONG!👈🏿👊🏿

He was just about Beautiful. I Loved his voice, one of my favorite songs he sang was IF You Go Away. Well Glen you will Never go away as long as we can play your songs and hear your Beautiful voice. Rest In Peace with your loved ones and the Lord in Paradise. XXXXX
Favorite was Rhinestone Cowboy. It was amazing that even with advanced Alzheimers he still remembered his music and performed it during that final concert.
Aloha, very nicely shared! He was a nice part of my childhood!!!! Mahalo for the wonderful memories of his career and legacy❤️‼️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽🌺 Blessings to you and yours.
Great vlog and thanks for sharing. My favorite song from Glen is "rhinestone cowboy" and his role in True Grit one of fav movies of all time. Another fun fact that Glen did is in his life was he had part of getting Alan Jackson's first start. Back in the mid 80s he was boarding a plane and Alan's wife was working as a flight attendant at the time. She saw Glen and told him about her husband Alan country singer and he's been turned down almost every label. Glen gave her his business card and said give me call and surely you know it the rest is history for Alan.
I love Burning Bridges and Everyday Housewife, True Grit. He had so many beautiful songs and I love them all. 💕 I don't live too far from where he is buried. I live in Arkansas too.
Thank you, watching from London UK…..he will always be my Rhinestone Cowboy…..thank you for showing that….rest in peace Mr Campbell…..please do Kenny Rogers
I haven't been getting your notifications. Playing catch-up. Absolutely loved Glen Campbell and remember watching his TV show. Campbell and Mac Davis were part of my younger years. Campbell's music will never get old. Thank you!!🕊️🙏❤️
Great video, champ. When he passed I was so sad, despite not being an American, loved his music. Bless you for doing this. (ps. Wichita Lineman best song)
My 5 favorites are Witchita Lineman, Galveston, Country Boy, By The Time I Get To Phoenix, Sunflower. True Grit, To put it simpler everything that he recordrd. R.I.P. Glen 🎸🎙➕🌷💓
Hey Jason good to see you. Glen Campbell was the Best . Amazing performer and a special man in my opinion. We need to start getting you more popular now. I really want to see you make a name for yourself. Hugs God Bless and please be safe in that terrible heat.
He was probably one of the most gifted musical artists in history. Maybe it was because of his "aw shucks" demeanor, but the guy was one of the greatest guitar players ever, a great singer, and much more.
Thanks BR. That was a beautiful video story. He was one of the world’s greatest and most talented guitarist. You should watch him play the William Tell Overture with the guitar over his head. He also had a beautiful voice. It’s a shame he had to battle so many demons in his life. Miss you Glen.
Just found this…nice video..We were there for Glen’s burial..my husband, Carl Jackson, was Glen’s longtime banjo player, Godfather to Ashley and great friend of Glen and Kim…He also produced Glen’s last album, “Adios..” ❤
Glen Campbell always gave credit to Tommy Smothers for giving him his big break, for giving him the opportunity to host his own television show (and called him the greatest producer he ever worked with) and for later actually GIVING him the show. I find it strange that when people today talk about all of Glen Campbell's success, they never even mention Tommy Smothers. That certainly wouldn't set right with Glen.
Yes yes yes. I was creeped out as well. His gravesite is so humble compared to Kenny Rogers. Don’t forget Jim Reeves in Carthage Tx and I would love to meet you. My wife and I love what you do!!!

I saw a vlogger do a video on Glen Campbell. That is the most smallest, most quietest graveyard I have ever seen!👈🏿
He was probably one of the most gifted musical artists in history. Maybe it was because of his "aw shucks" demeanor, but the guy was one of the greatest guitar players ever, a great singer, and much more.
