I have synesthesia that makes words, numbers and sounds into colours, textures and occasionally smells in my head. it's crazy how different your voice made the colours of this song. the original was very blue and watery, like drinking water that's just a little too cold on a hot day and feeling it sting your throat, and the smell of a thunderstorm with the humidity amplifying the scent of brick houses in a busy city. but this cover was orange and yellow and felt something like sawdust - like the feeling of being in a warm room with wood dust that smells great but sticks a little in your nose. comfortable and fuzzy like when a grown-up would rub your arms to keep you warm when you were little. very pleasant experience, and your voice is phenomenal! loved it.
For some reason this son restores my faith in humanity. I grew up in a family hard to the core. The men are assholes and the women are bitches but this song reminds me that there is real happiness and memories are really valuable to some. We don’t have to live in a dog eat dog world. We can all live beautiful lives if we love each other with all we have, if we don’t cheat on each other and we cherish those moments with each other and make it our goal to create more beautiful memories. That’s all I have.
