Most mics of this caliber could pick up even the softest of sounds. They have noise gates and things like that to pick up what you want them to. He definitely has a unique range and a powerful voice. Just you can hear that the mic's quality in the fact he doesn't move back or move forward to increase and decrease the pick up of the mic. He can just belt it and the mic will do the rest from the range he's at.

My dad used to love this live video. I miss him so much. I played this clip in his funeral. I still can help myself crying my heart out whenever my memories of him come across my mind. This song was played on the radio constantly around the time my youngest was born (April 2012); it was always stuck in my head, so I hummed it to her all the time, especially at night during feedings/diaper changes, though usually at a much slower tempo. Even now she still loves it ♥
