Just listened to this for the first time in years, it still breaks my heart. My Son was ill with his mental health when it was first out, he's recovered now and doing amazing. But 3 times I almost lost him, 3 times I had my heart ripped out from me. I used to play this to him all the time, telling him he was my absolute world and that I would walk over hot coals and bang on every door to get him better. Eight years later, he thanked me for never giving up.
Mothers are so strong, I don’t know what I’d do without my mom. I’ve struggled with my mental health for a while. I didn’t tell anyone for a long time, but one day I decided to tell my mom and she prayed with me and always encourages me to fight trough everything. Both me and your son are blessed with the best thing we could have asked for, a great mother. Im sure your son is so very grateful and feels an un describable love for you just like I do for my mom. You deserve all the thanks ☺️

That high note! I've always loved her but holy shit I didn't realise she had that range.
+Patrik Radelj it's more the strength and the depth of tone in her voice which makes her a great singer, not the number of octaves. I just didn't know she could hit a note like that, her range in 19 and 21 wouldn't suggest she could. And even when Hello came out I thought she was scraping at the top of her range. So when she belted that note in this song I was really shocked.
+Alistair Brennan I'm pretty sure I read in a recent interview her new higher range has something to do with her vocal cord surgery back in the 21 era. She also quit smoking so maybe that has something to do with it? But that belt gave me life! All praise ADELE!
Why are people saying this note is the highest she has ever done, it isn't. I hear a D5 which can be heard in multiple other songs of hers: i.e. One and Only or her cover of Fool That I Am. The highest mixed voice note I have heard Adele sing is an E5/Eb5 in Someone Like You. Hello goes up to a B4 in chest/mix and a G5 in falsetto (which isn't staggering considering most baritones can hit that note.)
But anyway, she is starting explore her range more which is good to see. But no matter what, her tone is everything :3

Usually I’m not a fan of slow pop… But she absolutely KILLED IT during the Mid-2010’s. This woman has Whitney Houston and Freddie Mercury levels of talent behind the mic. Her voice and the deeper meanings behind the lyrics really carry her as an artist. Hope to see more from her soon!

The Church Studios is a studio (shocker) in London that (wait for it) is half of a renovated Church. While the church itself has been around since the 1850s, the studio end didn't come into prominence until about 1984. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox (who make up the musical duo The Eurythmics) were renting the upstairs Church room to lay down some tracks, and eventually converted it into a full blown recording studio. It was there that they recorded their hit album Sweet Dreams, and, from that point forward, The Church Studios became an iconic place for artists to let the music flow.

The studios are in Crouch End where I used to live (I still live in the borough). I used to walk past the studios with my mum when I was going to infant school. Before the Eurythmics recorded there, the studios were used to film Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green. U2 used recently to finish their latest album and Bob Dylan recorded their in the 80s.

This song really had me crying out loud. I am having trouble facing the all inevitable experience of aging. I never really had the chance to be reckless as a kid, due to life's circumstances chaning my view of life at a very young age. I am getting back into singing and am starting to take requests from family and friends. One of them chose this song and I have to say, this will be one of the hardest songs to learn, not just musically, but mentally. I can only hope to get through what I am going through so I can sing this for her. What a deep song.

When I just heard this song for the first time... 5-6 times in a row. I was like wow. I have been married to the same woman the past 32 years "I better get this right" with the usual up's and down's of being a retired military husband and wife that I lost count of the meaningless arguments over the years "We could have made a movie, It was just like a song". They say music is the key to your soul. I know... there's a bunch of others. anyway this song opened my eyes and I thought to myself... wow, this is us. Finally. a song how I feel. I think I'm more in love with my wife than any time or song "Remember When - by Allen Jackson" previous. Again... to me it was moving.
