This masterpiece can transport you to a moment, a feeling, or a place, unlocking emotions you thought were long buried, reminding you of times that shaped who you are
tbh any music, even bad music, can "unlock" memories you kinda forgot since ages, as long as you heard it enough times at a certain time of your life, like some artists that will always remind me when i used to read books (and even remind me of some books in particular) laying on the rug of the bedroom i shared with my two big sisters, because one of them was playing the same artists on her stereo for couple years, while i was reading, and at the time suffering from her music choices... now ofc i ear these musics with nostalgia of my childhood aha, even if i used to kinda hate them

the fact that this song is still getting thousands of views a day is amazing. And the main reason we are all here is because of the nostalgia and memories...
That's so crazy to listen this song and remind when I was 20, full of dreams, life, energy. I was loving someone so much, having crazy times with my friends and I knew I had the world full of possibilities In front of me. Now I'm almost 29, sometimes I still feel like a teenager, but sometimes I carry the weight of being an adult, with responsibilities and the necessity to find a good way in my career. I know what I want to do at least, I know what I love, but it seems hard to follow your dreams sometimes. But when I remember the old days, the moments were I could see everything with a very dreamy perspective, I feel comfy. I wanna to continue seeing the world as I saw when I was younger and I wanna enjoy every part of my life.
This song came out when my son was 7 and we would scream the chorus at the top of our lungs in the car and now he’s 17 about to drive a car time flies. He graduated and is a freshman at college and whenever I hear this now I cry happy tears.
@Jorge Rivas i can relate... in the beginning of the year, i was getting bullied by these girls who i thought were my friends which they always claimed to be.. but they'd constantly hurt me leave me out of things and constantly make me cry.. i was too scared to make new friends so i didnt.. im still with that toxic friend group, and even though they claim to be my friend, and claim to care about me, they never said sorry.. to make things worse, i'd cry every night just wishing to be in my old town again, when i felt like people cared about me and loved me.. all those good friends from my old town are gone now, and worse thing was is that i never got to say bye.. they're a bit better now but like i said they havent told me they're sorry yet.. you never realize how good you have it until it's gone..
I agree. I remember singing this with my cousin and friend when I was in my early years of uni. I was 21, my friend 22 and cousin 19. They’re both gone now, my cousin three years and my friend one-and-a-half years ago. Both to suicide

My little brother is trapped on a bridge tryin to evacuate fkorida and hurricane Milton right now... we loved this song and the fun dance beat. Hes so incredibly talented. God. Please let him be okay, With his beautiful wife and baby. This hurricane isnt 'natural' in any sense of the word and im scared for everybody...not just Jake and his family, but literally everyone with a heartbeat. The world isnt what it used to be and tbings are weirder and weirder every day.
Good luck while the hurricane buddy. I am from europe but still good luck!
Hope he is okay 🤍

@Jorge Rivas i can relate...
in the beginning of the year, i was getting bullied by these girls who i thought were my friends which they always claimed to be..
but they'd constantly hurt me leave me out of things and constantly make me cry..
i was too scared to make new friends so i didnt..
im still with that toxic friend group, and even though they claim to be my friend, and claim to care about me, they never said sorry..
to make things worse, i'd cry every night just wishing to be in my old town again, when i felt like people cared about me and loved me..
all those good friends from my old town are gone now, and worse thing was is that i never got to say bye..
they're a bit better now but like i said they havent told me they're sorry yet..
you never realize how good you have it until it's gone..
facts lmao
It was a teary song. Just think of the good things in life. Life is so wonderful. I guess tears of joy.
The nostalgia literally made me cry. This song defines my childhood.
I wish I would have taken advantage of life when I was younger. I didn't make the most out of my childhood, and this song makes me realize it.

Who cares about the past , shit cant be changed. Rather than letting the past determine your future, create your own future regardless of your past 😇
It's crazy, my teacher played this song at my kindergarten graduation and now we are going into 3rd grade and drifting apart 😢. time flies...
From all the nostalgic songs, this one is special, hits harder than any one
I agree. I remember singing this with my cousin and friend when I was in my early years of uni. I was 21, my friend 22 and cousin 19. They’re both gone now, my cousin three years and my friend one-and-a-half years ago. Both to suicide
