I've heard rumors of turbo oil leak from blocking off the intake manifold driver side pcv port. Maybe something to do with over loading the diverter valve lines since some pressure would normally be venting out off the valve cover driver side pcv port. Also the crankcase would be venting out of only 1 valve cover pcv port versus 2 ports, what it was originally designed. Replacing the cyclonic oil separator with one that is lacking a cyclonic system is not a good idea. I understand that the whole idea is to prolong carbon build up on the intake valves. I've researched all Audi A4 FWD 2.0 catch can systems. I think all of the catch can designs (BFI, Billet, ECStuning, CTS, etc) for this particular vehicle all have flaws. The reason being it completely ignores either the driver side or the passenger side pcv vent system by simply blocking off a side. In addition of the block off, some system completely replaces/remove the cyclonic oil separator. If I was to do a catch can system for this vehicle, I would go with the ECStuning system that keeps the cyclonic oil separator. It covers the passenger side pcv port -TO- ECS catch can -TO- turbo inlet. Then I will install a custom catch can system mount on the driver side firewall that covers the driver side pcv port -TO- baffled catch can -TO- intake manifold. That would be an ideal system for me to prevent a problem down the road. Catch cans you'll have to keep empty them, even more often if your driving region have bumpy roads and hills. Either that or don't install one and remove your instake manifold ever 90k miles or so, manually turn the crank to close each cylinder's valves and clean them one by one. I would also inspect the intake valves using a borescope every now and then. Stupid direct injection system with constant computer regulating unnessary shit for daily driving for the sake of optimal fuel economy by a few miles and slightly lower emission in theory not taking into factor the driver's behavior. Like the eco start/stop system. You have to ask yourself with the high amount of high pressure fuel injectors being replaced due to direct injection system and the high amount of starters being replaced due to constant use from eco start/stop system. How much energy or resources does it take to manufacture those items and transport them to sell to consumers. Is is worth having a direct injection system and eco start/stop for daily use? Port system works just fine and gets pretty good gas mileage if its an inline 4 with more gears keeping the rpm low at cruising speeds.

this can was a bit small so a bit more often than usual and in the winter those lines didn’t really freeze up so didn’t have any issues

I bought a set pcv delete with catch can in UK 150 sterling after I started the car it shakes and very rough idle it sound like engine is going to die. Same car audi a4 b7 2.0 tfsi any solution for this. 3 tubes in pcv plate first one will connectvto pcv hose, and the 2 tube goes to catch can. I also cover the tube that block the manifold it comes in the kit

Can you give us update if his kits affect oil consumtion. I recently install pvc delete with catch can car doing great. I replace new vac pump and rocker cover gasket engine clean but notice i consume more oil about 1L/600 mls. My car 2006 audi a4 b7 2.0 200hp 85kmls well maintain and some mechanic said it is normal for this car, the engineer of audi built a defective engine poor quality of pistons snd i have no plan to replace not wort it forvthis shite audi.
