Chris, genius tip - the wee box the relays were originally in - you don’t need to remove that, it holds catch can to perfection 👍🏻

When I did my engine bay restoration I could not get that same panel off for love nor money! I never even saw those 2 hex bolts and always kicked myself i could not remove it to give it a clean. Great job on the catch can mate! Another job ticked off! A serious amount of Pipe rerouting!

I'm planning on fitting a catch can. My only concern with the "standard" way, of relocating that relay is the new location is not weatherproof, not sure you really want to put a relay somewhere it might be subject to moisture and dust and dirt. Have you had any issues?

Hi mate I've not heard of anyone having any issues with it relocating there and I know many people who have catch cans installed

I wished you had turned the car over and taken her for a little spin at the end of the video. Any noticeable improvement in performance doing this? Or is it just less worries of possible vacuum leaks from the old system? I’m a newb with a 2 week affair with my 2001 225 TT ❤

It's not a performance mod, it prevents issues with the pcv system in the future.

You may have a lose connection somewhere

@@CarChris82 had a good check of all lines and everything is tight. Smells seems to have gone away with plentiful spirited driving… very strange! Appreciate the reply 🙏

Hiya mate,
Just installed one of these and it now seems like the turbo is constantly dumping as soon as you put any throttle on at all at any rev range.
Does yours "blow" from the machined fitting that came with the kit? Mine seems to be, maybe need to clean up even more & reinstall as feels like a boost leak from that fitting.
Annoying to say the least...

My pcv was shot so was easier to delete it and fit a catch can 👍🏻
