Thinking about swapping my career path to OT because I think it’d be more fulfilling for me. I really enjoy your videos, I’ve got a much better understanding of how the OT work actually goes on
hi! are there jobs available for OTAS? Is there a lot of job opportunities available in the NY/ NJ/ PA/ CT area? i want to see if there are OTA position available for peds? are there jobs available for OTA in the schools? you said that hospitals dont hire for OTAS? is that true in all parts of USA? which is better for job opportunities in the North East area? peds / adults/ or geriatrics
There are lots of jobs for OTAs. It really depends on the area. I’ve worked at hospitals that hire OTAs and hospitals that don’t. I’m not sure about schools.
I'm a Rehab therapy assistant in Texas, and I have been thinking of pursuing being an OT because I enjoy it. But do you honestly think I can live comfortably enough to have a good life if I want to have a family?
This is a hard one for me. Right now I feel like the field is paying less with inflation but hopefully it will catch up. Honestly if I did it again I would probably be a dermatologist P.A for the money. The pay would be so much better.
