I could never see myself touring ever haha. So much stress and work with little free time in between I believe, but it's also quite a learning and fun experience! I salute ye for your efforts and work on the road! Cheers!
Hold up, you're just gonna drop a frame of the dude, Harry Miree, and not give any more context. That right there is enough to make me consider signing up!
You are the best! Always having a positive attitude constantly having a smile on you're face! that's what us new beginning drummers need to see to work hard and practice with a positive attitude!
Watching this video makes me realise this is my absolute dream, being able to tour with the friends that you love looks like the best thing you could possibly do!
What part about tour life do you think you'd like the most?? 🚨 HUGE NEWS! DBO Academy doors open NOV.23-27! Join the Waitlist! 👉 bit.ly/DBOAcademy . . . . . . Who saw my bottle flipping skills at the end of the video??
I would enjoy touring so much but in ways its hardworking I love your vids as i have been playing the drums for 2 years and am on grade 4 Keep up the hard work
I’ve seen you all twice. I am a drummer myself and I love your style! I am a huge fan. I also play meinl and love the sound. I hope I can meet you someday!
Thanks for being a part of the #DBOFam! Yes they were, I’m experimenting with the Evans black chrome on the Toms. Not my favorite, but the sound guy likes them so 🤷🏽♂️
Really appreciate all your videos. I play drums every weekend gigging and I always have food on me... Usually some gluten free snacks, bannans, tuna, and or premade salads. When my band or fans see me I'm usually stretching or eating prior, or between sets. I always say, drumming is like a sport. You have to train and live like an athlete. Gabe, hopefully you and prevail members go up the ranks so you can have full on cataering services at your shows! Then you will be eating good !
Love your vlogs! Please do more of these!😊 see you next year in cologne and amsterdam with iprevail💪🏼 ps: i hope i can catch a drumstick after the set🥁😅
I am going to say something that it may sound "out there" but I feel compelled to do so, specially after the smoothy part. Perhaps Gabe should make a video giving thanks to all those who grow his food, without which Gabe "the drummer" could not exist. Thanks to them we all can enjoy the talent of Gabe but one must not forget of those without which none of us could ever see Gabe "the drummer". And it is amazing how many of us have totally forgotten about those who grow our food and we have totally forgotten about that very important part of growing our own food, in fact essential part of our days. Just throwing that out there, may be it will be well taken by those who raise those chickens, grow the greens, milk the cows, etc... Just saying ;) Another great video, I like Gabe, he has humble eyes which show a tender heart, at least on the videos. Thanks Gabe!
The early days clubbing are the best, on the road for 6 months and the schedule is not that demanding other than a few Saturday matinees. Wake up at noonish, eat and go fishing or touring around the city/town. Get back by 6pm, shower, eat, restring and tune. Band meeting with review of last nights show and have a couple beers. Get down to the stage by 8:30pm and set up for the night. Great times!
I just posted My first RUclips Video and started with a Drum Cover. I have always wanted to try and do this for fun and you inspired me to just give it a shot. Thanks and looking forward to your next vid.
Cool video your trip to Sweetwater was definitely not like my wife and myself's. Both last two trips close to a four hour drive get there and can't fit the drums in the car as they came out on the cart had to unbox in the parking lot putting drum inside drum etc same next trip buying a Marshall head etc had to unbox in the lot again and my bud at Sweetwater who is the best Mason Boisvert wasn't working due to this Covid mess physically at the store so twice didn't get to treat him the overdue lunch and was too tired to go check out the gear exchange for the second time but totally love the people at Sweetwater as well they're the ones I'll buy gear from. This life isn't an easy one we spend so much time going here and there no one sees the wear and tear on us the gear and the vehicles LoL curious would you share the smoothie recipe looks delicious if it's keeping you healthy it's got to do my 46 year old vessel some goodness blessings and prayers from Ohio stay safe stay rhythmic out there
Of course, on any given day in the road, you’re not filming 2 videos for Sweetwater before your gig that night. We’d love to see a part 2 of this of just a typical day from arrival in a city to post show.
You have wonderful discipline on the road, how do you do it? I predict myself smashed at the end of my FIRST show when I go to the UK with my band next year :/
You sound really groggy in the morning!! Or did you drink too much whiskey the night before? Lol!! Cool video Gabe!! That Sweetwater store is huge!! You and your band were in Europe this last summer for the festivals or not?
Haha yeah I normally need a couple hours to myself in the morning before I become a real person. Yeah we did some festivals in Europe this past summer!
My first tour ever before cell phones we had the pocket dialer look into that..anyway I got the flu driving in a mini van with 5 stinky punk rock dudes from nj to florida..good times..lots of downtime on tour hahahaha also just went and checked out red rock amphitheater...rad place...those steps and ramp sucked

That's the way to do it right there! We actually do have catering, but because I went to Sweetwater that day I missed the time slot for lunch.
