I hated how death battle decided this fight bro. For hulk they used a ton of incalculable feats but they were able to calculate almost exactly how strong broly was. How do you choose the guy you can scale over the guy you cannot? They just dont like hulk

To the life of me I still don’t understand how DB put Broly as winning. Like even if you ignore all the cosmology of Marvel Hulk still has scaling beyond anything in canon Dragon Ball.
At the time of the episode, there was no official statement to just how _big_ the Marvel Universe actually was. So Death Battle went the easy route and assumed it was as big as our 'normal' universe, to which DBS' was 13x greater. So yeah, Hulk should have won.

Hell they not only
1. Lied about hulks healing being tied to his hypothalamus
2. Claimed he argued with his personas where if they read the immortal hulk comics, they'd know the personas work together
3. Showed a comic image of Bruce being killed and taking awhile to come back as hulk, but in that comic arc, Bruce LOST the gamma to Amadeus cho and wasn't the hulk anymore.
4. They used leader as an example of taking awhile to Regen from death but leader was never able to Regen in the 1st place
5. Stated broly could erase hulk, meanwhile he's taken an anti matter gun blast(built BY Bruce banner) to the face and kept going.
What's more is that in the Morro arc it's stated "no matter how powerful, Saiyan's can't survive in the vacuum of space" by Vegeta. So that means the moment broly blew up earth he should've been fucked. Whole time it's been shown hulk being in space without gear and even speculated that hulk could adapt to breathe in space.

This was the fight that made me realize Death Battle really is for entertainment only.
For me, it was Cammy Vs. Sonya, Akuma Vs. Shao Kahn, Hulk Vs Broly/Thor Vs. Vegeta, Android 18 Vs. Captain Marvel, Harley Quinn Vs. Jinx, and Beerus Vs. Sailor Galaxia. And those episodes I just named are when I stopped taking them seriously.

I've seen a lot of mid to downplay put on Hulk when it comes to this matchup and similar ones like Hulk vs Doomsday or Kratos, Doom Slayer, Godzilla etc. Most of the time they say it's because Hulk lacks versatility, intelligence or he simply can't scale or reach that scale on his own which all sound ridiculous when you remember who he's fought in the past. Hulk's fought and defeated reality warpers, God's, Superman clone after Superman clone(some with higher stats) and for some reason I see people either ignore this along with the fact that Hulks stats increase with rage(all his stats not just strength) and when shown this they either say "so what? Hulk's never fought and beaten someone like Santama, Goku or Broly before" and when they say this I roll my eyes back. "Broly learns as he fights and gets stronger with his Zenkais and transformations" cool Hulk's been doing that ever since he went from Gray to Green so what? "Broly can fly and shoot ki energy and increase it during the fight" Hulk can do that with Gamma. Hell he can do that with Cosmic Radiation along with several other forms of potent energy, even stuff like Ki since well y'know he trained with Iron Fist who uses chi which is basically the same thing as ki and Hulk can adapt to it and even harness it despite not being the Iron Fist himself. So even if you wanna say Broly beats Hulk with Ki, Hulk's already been there and done that. And here's the big one... "Hulk can die" 1 so your saying Broly can't die? Since when was Broly ever Immortal?
2 Hulk can't die just Banner, all the "times Hulk has died" it was Banner who died while Hulk lived. Even Civil War 2 Hulk wasn't the one who died, it was Banner, Hulk came back afterwards and we got the Immortal Hulk saga.

I don't think it is that bad a matchup. Broly has several advantages against hulk with being able to fly and spam energy blasts. Hes also got a reactive powerlevel so he would get stronger in the fight.
Worldbreaker Hulk had a similar problem fighting centry.
While yes hulk is stronger than broly it would likely make him at least try. Unless somebody can say when hes one shot a similar powerset before.

How about Animated series Hulk vs Broly? Or MCU Hulk vs Broly? Hulk when fully mad would have stomped thanos. The only reason Thanos one against that hulk was because he was not fully mad. The hulk that hit 800 foot Serter would stomp that Thanos that he fought with the hit he did against the 800 foot behemoth and knocked the 800 foot behemoth back. Also, the same hulk that hit the alien in MCU avengers one and knocked that giant creature out with one punch after banner fell from the sky. That Hulk would one shot the Thanos he fought. The only reason Thanos won was because of his fighting skill and Hulk was not angry enough for him to one shot Thanos. If hulk was as angry as he was when he one shot that alien in Avengers 1 or as angry as he was when he staggered Serter. That thanos would not even be a fight. Hulk would one shot that Thanos.
