@@tinyred4512 You’re welcome! If you’re gonna try out the game I highly recommend you to do Free Training first. Learn how the weapons work. Once you understand how to parry then you’re good to go

i blame Just Cause 2 for my love of grappling hooks. they really do give one banger after another! Naraka is also very fun. a little weird but fun in the end. i can't wait to see the dark souls-esque level of crazy character customization to come out!

Thanks for the review, you did a good job explaining the game even though I spotted several people you just walked past without notice but yeah I may go buy this game bc I was a big fan of kurtzpel, outside of the highly unfair matchmaking, even in ranked you could never beat someone who put more time in bc they had more stats added to their equipment compared to you who just started in the game lmao, nobody matched up in ranking so most of the time you were playing the highest ranked of players rated at “G” who understood everything about combos while I’m just swinging my sword and casting abilities hoping they hit
The art style and visuals of this game are beautiful and I may have to just back into the BR realm

Aww from a few pictures I saw I thought this was going to be some crazy new Bushido Blade type game but I've been hoping that for like the last twenty years with any game that has weapons and people running around
I've never been a BR fan, but this does look like an interesting take on the genre. I might have to check this out.

Whenever I played the beta, I don’t know, the gameplay felt extremely clunky and floaty. Maybe that has improved since then?
It felt clunky because a lot of the in-game settings set a lot of movement to be automatic, but it all can be disabled in the options menu. Game feels a lot better when you disable all the auto stuff.

Great sword and grappling hook don't sound like they go together anyway 😅 but then again damage is damage. I agree with the grappling hook and double jump to everywhere features in games like ,tenchu , just cause and many others although I wished the characters here had a longer attack combo than a 3 hit, the powerful specials might be the stylish help you need to survive the onslaught but use your blade it's kinda the point 😏. Decent review and I look forward to meeting you all on the field ✊🏾

Please…for the love of every good game that was ever given a chance…DO NOT LET WHAT HAPPENED TO SPELLBREAK HAPPEN TO THIS GAME!
I just bought it and haven’t even had my first match yet, but I see people saying it gets hard, and that gives me some anxiety, cause a lot of gamers that play some of these games get stomped a couple times and REFUSE to take a challenge. The game is smooth, beautiful, and a VERY NICE change of pace for the BR market. Don’t let whining ruin something with this much potential.

Looks like this will be the next thing. I hate BR but this looks fun since range weapons seamed balance to a point that you'd rather engage in melee than use a clunky range weapon.

In lower rank, yeah you might see her as op, but after you learn the mechanics of other characters they all have their pros and cons

Think it was a Bot lobby, 😅 But every match after that was not easy.
A lot of people were deflecting knocking weapons out of hand Got a couple wins but honestly I don't know.Maybe they're playing on PC Because it was crazy how much date would deflect, I did get a couple deflect on them but shit hard to do, all about timing and Reflexs 😅

The devs do not enforce the rule breaking, and people who have been
teaming for example, is still playing today. people from china or other
Asian countries are playing on EU and NA servers with over 200 ping and
you cant block/clash/parry their attacks. And if you play on EU or NA
server its almost impossible to play against the chinese invation. They
team up in solo q and make it hell.

Hinestly not sure what this is about, but 90% of the opponents you encounter seem like either total noobs or bots, unarmored and just running around. Also dont know what is about the constant knockdowns, seems once you hit someone hes done.

first match is usually against BOT on all BR games
the moment iheard battle royal i was done xD i suck at those and me and my friends cant really enjoy them. once someone dies we all just leave. we cant let a friend just spectate or be afk while we are trying. we just wanna mess around in online games
Just a goddamn shame this isn't a retail game. You can't own it and play offline (it HAS bots you can practice with) and it goes bye bye when they shut servers down. This would have done well as a paid digital or physical game. There's no reason people can't own it except it's just going to be used to sell costumes, then abandoned.

@@EricChien95 There should be a LAN Battle Royale option. The premise behind these games is we live in a miracle world where nobody has internet outages. This is a stupid thing to bank on. Hacking can always be mitigated by patches and updates, and software checks when you connect to the servers to play online. There is no need to NOT allow people to own a game they enjoy. Charge for the initial game, then sell your crappy cosmetics every season. People love these games so much, pretty sure they'll pay to play.

Basically beginner level player will do a lot of click spamming, but on higher level it gets more tactical. From counting enemy's combo attack to slip in counter moves based on the weapon they used or even to fight literraly like Levi Ackerman utilizing the grappling hook

Unfortunately I can't play this cause I don't have PC. So I've been playing Hunter's Arena Legend on PS4. It's free right now on PS+. It's a melee BR like this, but also has some MOBA elements. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. If you like Naraka, I'd say check this out too. I got 4th in my 3rd solo run.

Grappling hooks ARE pretty sick, tbf. You played any Titanfall 2? Or Apex Legends? Both have grappling hooks. And Apex, even though it's a BR, is imo the best by far thanks to the awesome characters and the way the game can facilitate good team communication.

Alright so some comments are saying a few hours in it gets harder but like my first time playing I got 11 kills and my second 10 and u telling me that’s gonna go away after a couple hours, no sir I’ll just keep playing with that same amount of confidence until it’s ripped frm me 😭
