Hi Jake. I watch yours and August’s channels. As a retired old guy, I enjoy watching any skilled, competent tradesman. Arborist, machinist, carpenter, mechanic, whatever. I am a master refrigeration technician and appreciate any highly skilled trade.

I saw that slip and felt your pain.When you don’t see it coming like that and the sudden instantaneous thump i give you lots of credit,i think I would’ve headed for earth after that,hats off.
As an electrician working in the construction field I’ve worked alongside every type,the key is comfort zones and potential hazards now being created by two instead of one.I need to put my trust in the next person especially if it’s right out of the gates.I’ve had close calls and near misses when i misread either what i was doing or the next guy working alongside me.When we get into a comfort zone that’s usually when strange things start happening.These are just experiences I speak from and can relate what I’m seeing.Thanks for another great video.

Tree work is such an awesome job when you are working with competent people who get along well. When you do, there are few days that feel like actual work, some days are absolutely great, other feel like working on a project with friends.

We have 10 time the variety here in Pennsylvania. It makes going to work a new and interesting challenge every day.. I've always wanted to climb out west just for a change of species

15-20 mins is what a lot of the bigger channels are gravitating toward. RUclips’s current algorithm is more or less forcing that change.
@@WildAcresFarms definitely. I do enjoy the hour ish long videos but I also sometimes have to put them off for days or a week to get to them. And then if it was a completely new channel most people probably wouldn't be motivated to go back and watch when they have the time.

My 2 favorite YT Tree channels !!! you tube is weird, tree guys, bee guys, car guys, and restore guys and for some awesome reason I've enjoyed my 2 faves in calabs in several genres just in the last few weeks. It would be wild to see cross overs some how... (between genres I mean, Like a tree guy helping a "will it start after 60 yrs in the weeds" cut out and start a dozer or some thing? lol )

I really like the distant shot, nice to see you guys plowing through the branches. Sometimes the helmet mounted camera swings around too much!
I'd love to see more explanation of how you get sorted out in the tree. How do you get your climbing line set, when do you switch from flip-line to lanyard, or positioning rope. All the little details are completely unknown to me.
They both have videos on that subject, if you can easily get a throw line into a crotch in the tree up high from the ground you do that, if not you spur up high to a good spot with your rope with you and throw it over where you can get the most done, and sometimes you just double flip line and forget the above tie in

Yo, on your com system, do you pick up background noise (saw cutting,chipper,etc) on the mic? I have the sena 10s and it’s no good for me. It picks up too much surrounding noise, my bro hears me and I hear his cutting.

I have been doing tree work for almost 40 years and thire that one tree every year or so that just gives you that bad feeling and it's better to bring in someone else's you trust even if he just on the ground running ropein for u can make all the difference in the world. If u done any real tree work u know what I mean...I have done big nasty trees and never bothered me then u get one doesn't even have to be big or nasty just gets in your head if u want the job u got to figure it out or walk away. Go make money somewhere else...or do what u did .buddy I get it...believe me I do .you did the right thing
