- Join me and Randy as we tackle another challenging tree removal job in sunny Florida! In this video, we're tasked with cutting down a tall palm tree that's leaning dangerously over a canal. As I drop the chunks of wood and coconuts from the tree, they make a huge splash in the water, creating an epic display! It's an exciting and unique tree removal experience, and you'll get to witness the thrilling moments as we carefully bring down the tree and safely clear the area. @ 22:40. The first rule of the trades. Don’t cut toward yourself, cut towards a friend lol
First rule of chippers- never, ever, reach into the chipper. Use a guide board/pusher. Chipper accidents- usually fatal
Good advice
Freaking stoked to see a new video! Tomorrow I'm going to call a log truck to drop off a couple logs so that I can cut them into firewood with my new chainsaw. I'm 13 and got a Husqvarna 340 recently and after my occupational therapy appointment tomorrow, I will be going to the local Stihl shop and buying chaps. Although I understand that it's not an imperative thing to use, I always like to be safer than sorry. Once I get a new carburetor for my lawn mower. As well as a couple other upgrades to my power tool arsenal, I will definitely be buying a nanocut kit from your website and a couple of things from West Coast Saw. Thanks yet again for the epic videos that are always coming out and making boring times better!
Just did my first climbing job yesterday all thanks to you. Thank you so much man. Keep up the good work
Good job dude!
Great job!
Aaaand another absolutely outstanding job done the number 1 TREE 🌲 CLIMBER, IN ALL OF FLORIDA!! Our man, JACOB!!
Jacob you and Randy have to much fun to call it working! Great video! Beautiful day to be high in a Palm Tree!
Get well soon! Glad to see back in the woodyard. Looking forward to seeing you fire up that processor.
Fellipe would have had that saw ready before Jake asked for it.......and he would have wanted larger logs to carry......just sayin'!! 😆 Love the video! You guys are too funny!
That was really cool. Glad y’all are having the opportunity to travel and experience the diversity of trees.
I've seen quite a few of your videos now and you are always upbeat, laughing and happy. You have discovered the secret of happiness - love your work.
These guys have fun on the job. Great personalities.
You are having TOO MUCH FUN to call it work!👍👍
Bar oil flavored coconut water, yummy.
Love watching these guys tie knots I don't know the names of. Keep up the good work Jake!
So cooool to see ya guys having so much fun

I can tell you’re having fun traveling to different places around the world
Great job on the 45 palm.
Loved the splash

Hey buddy how are you hope all is well
I love how genuinely excited and amazed you sound while working down here. No homo lol.
Man you look so happy.. amazing ❤️
Ah these lovely splashes!
You had too much fun😅
Double stack always makes the best content!!! Nano chain still did pretty good against that pinchy palm.
Real samurai
The HE-MAN rigging technique
man you've got alot of good footage with those guys man they both seem like some great guys to work with
A flounder is just minding his own business on the bottom and here comes a palm tree section from treeson!! LOL
I was thinking a Manatee 😀
im sure you know this but double wrapping that flip line around the truck is something that always gives me a ton of stability on those skinny trunks, i feel like that palm woulda been good for that. unless theres a reason you didnt
Very cool video
That's definitely a new one on me, great job jacob and raaamandy. Haha
Great job done there thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
you and randy are such a good combo. I wanna see you two with Reon
Nice work brother
"Cluster's Last Stand" ... nice job
Quite the interesting job. The angle on that tree made me uneasy while you were climbing. The bunches of coconuts coming down looked fun. I just knew you were going to cut open a coconut and drink the water when you got to the top. Stay safe.
new sport -- tree fishing ala Jake
Cut the fronds once, you're cutting 1 frond 3 times. Tie the racks off and send em down on a rope. It becomes so inefficient and lots of effort to clean up.
Dude you gotta come back out to Hawaii. Come to Maui and see how we do palms. This is peanuts for us. We often trim and remove palms. I'll show you how you can trim average 20 a day with a Silky handsaw and tree stands. Message me if you'd like to take a trip out here!
Randy getting some palm chips to the face, epic!!! Thank You sir may I please have another, 🤣🤣🤣
I wish you so much more views and subs! you deserve it!
Well done brother
Haaa im a pruning guy. Love it!
so what is palm wood like? palm fawns leaves are hard and stiff, very fibrous, does it look like soft
wood or nothing like anything you have seen? nice video, good job!
Back in the saddle again ... OH YEAH BABY
You guys are doing it right...work should be fun!
F L A T
*sploosh*
EDIT: and you immediately plant a log under water like a spear 😂 I love watching this stuff.
Hahahahahaha so you did take my suggestion of dropping the top (and a lot of) the tree into the water!!!! LoL
Next time speedlining those fronds, saves a lot of time digging them out of the water.
One of the few trees that gives the climber a drink.
I'm wondering this too. Maybe no landing zone???
The only time ive seen a pfd/auto inflation life jacket as a need for a tree removal.....lol
“if that guy did it” 😆
I used to speed line the bundles of coconuts
Fun video. Really surprised you're not wearing gloves for the palm tree.
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
I've never tasted chain oil before, is it nice?
Where at in Florida were you guys exactly? Great video.
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Far cry from a Fir tree.
How was that bar oil flavored coconut water ? 😂
❤❤❤❤
Crack up. Will you ever do something like that again. Maybe a Phoenix canariensis. Good luck if you do!
Well, that was different. Kewl.
In Viet Nam they take to coconut logs and carve kitchen tools. Spatula, spoons etc. The grain is very unique. I can't attach a picture or I would have.
That flipline isn't available on your site.... I keep checking 😀😀
"SPLASH" OOPS!!Scared all the alligators and Sharks away
LMAO
The ground crew needed a kayak
Could have negative rigged it with a tag line on it lol good job tho man love the videos
Another good job!! Could’ve roped it off the stick with a pulley tho
Funny one
Splash Splash
Nice 😊 🤠🤙🤙💯🏋️♂️🥳👌👍👍
How did the coconut water and bar oil taste? It looked like you took a sip of the one you cut open. HaHa!
The Florida trip was more cost effective than the Hawaii one, huh? Lol
Is the wood from that tree good for anything what can you do with it?
See how good your rope skills are, you guys should have tied a net for all those coconuts. Hee hee
It must be brutal working tree service in Florida in the summer.
Another great episode dude!! Does randy have a channel?!.. I've watched all of your content and want more tree content xD Ngl been a long time lurker
No just Instagram
Were can i get that flip line? Haha. Or there it is
7:22 "Needs rum!"
How do you like climbing on the rope runner? I was going to get one, but have heard some complaints about it being the "death runner" because of the bird sticking.
No way. I love it. Been using it since the first one was out years ago and this one for like three years or something like that
I have one too and it’s great, you just need to inspect the bird and lubricate if it’s getting sticky
Love mine 😊
what do you do with the coconuts
I'd have pretty pissed if I was a groundie. Made way more work for everyone including yourself the way you "rigged" that stem down.🤣
Been doing it 35 years+ in South Florida and that is definitely not how you do it.
You think the Atlantic side is nice, go across the state to a place like Cape Coral or Tampa - so much prettier - also the west coast is more like the Midwest and the east coast is more like New England. Both coasts really nice and unique. Such a great state.
No hate, just got my saw ticket and going for my climbing ticket next but why does it need pruned and how fast does it grow back?
I wonder if this guy ever hast to deal with Karin’s when working
Do another chainsaw collection/tour like when you were at Eastside.
Am I the only one who saw the face at 14:38?
surprised you didnt zipline the clusters since they seem to break on impact.
What’s the going rate for a palm removal like this? I live no where near palms and I am just curious
I would charge around $400, but besides cutting and chucking almost all of the fronds I would never drop all that s*** in the drink. The Coconuts would be roped down using the head. The head and all the other wood would be roped down using a sling. Back in the eighties we dropped an Australian pine in the drink to make it easier by pulling it out with a bobcat and almost hit a manatee and her calf.
Itu sangatlah menggembirakan bagi saya..saya sangat senang dengan Vidio ini semoga semuanya diberikan keselamatan dalam bekerja..dan semoga saya bisa seperti ini juga.
Kid from Washington drops all his Florida trees in the water.
What part of Florida?
Awas hati2 bang,,,salam satu hobi ya
I wouldn’t have drink from that coconut, probably had bar oil on it lol
just extra vitamins and minerals
Mostly minerals 😂😂
@@2aminitials Yeah keeps your insides nice and lubricated ahaha
Do you write your video descriptions with AI?
Do you have to do the double rope method hook to two tree branches it a new law in the UK for health and safety
Guilty of Treesgone
Who else skipped straight to the tree falling in the canal
Nobody in Florida can figure out how to get the canal water to move more than just in and out with the tide we're so smart
😀
JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TOO!!!!!!!!
When you want to drink the coconut you have to cut enough to where you wont cut into the area where there is water so u dont get oil in th water then you can just poke it with your handsaw the rest of the way
